I'm going to try and get out to Target this weekend. I just made room in my freezer. Coincidentally there is room for one or two more pints!

Has anyone tried Madisono's Gelato? Kroger has just started carrying it, but I'm hesitant to pay the price without some reviews! The flavors look really good!

I just don't want another unsatisfying Breyer's experience.

Shop Rite has Haagen Dazs at $2.88 and I had a $1.5 coupon so I HAD to buy something. Tried the stracciatella gelato. Pretty good! Nice creamy base and the chocolate bits are delicious. Only had one tablespoon though...

(I know, I went to two stores today and bought ice cream at both. I'm hopeless and the freezer is full again).
That and if you buy 4 you get $4 off your next order. I had a $1.50/1 and a $1/1 that I used this week.

Yeah I don't want 4 though. I don't eat them that much because of the calories.

I haven't seen that brand. It's definitely a step down to go from Talenti to Breyers, but I don't mind the Breyers Tiramisu in a pinch. I haven't really liked any of the others. The chocolate was second best after the tiramisu. I threw out the Raspberry Cheesecake.

I liked this and I'll happily eat the rest of the pint. I won't buy it again though. It's a big step up from the Coffee Chocolate Chip but I still am just not a huge coffee ice cream fan and there wasn't enough toffee to make up for that.

Found the coconut chocolate chip at Target. Will try to make room for some tomorrow.

I like coffee ice cream, but I just couldn't get into this one. I liked it enough to eat the whole pint (not in one sitting), but I won't get this one again, either. I was wondering when you'd get around to eating this one!

I still have a couple more flavors in my freezer I haven't tried yet. I've been in a chocolate mood lately so I ate a bunch of Phish Food in between the new ones. Still one of my favorites.

I think I have Baskin Robbins Pralines and Cream to review (although I did have some, I just didn't review it) and Phin and Phebes banana pudding. Maybe one or two others.

I haven't seen this yet and want to try. My son raided the freezer late last night and had some McConnell's -- and left it out so it was a goopy mess this morning. At least it makes room in the freezer!

Ok coconut chocolate chips Talenti = YUM! Too bad it's on the high side calorie-wise (240 calories for 100g)

That's on the low side for me.

But I had the plain coconut and it just wasn't my thing. Not a big coconut lover.

Yeah you probably won't like it that much then.

Sorry I have been neglecting this group - wanted to pass through and wave "hi"

A couple of the more recent flavors I've tried:

Talenti black raspberry chocolate chip - As a big chocolate/raspberry lover had high hopes for this one, but it really disappointed me

HaagenDazs caramelized banana chip - after being sorely disappointed by the banana rum jam artisan flavor, I was much more impressed with this one. Nice banana flavor and yummy dark chocolate chips. Definite winner for me.

Have one more unopened pint at home - an Archer Farms (Target brand) Banana almond caramel ice cream. Even being a store brand, the flavor combo intrigued me, so gonna give that one a try tonight.

On Second Scoop posted about a company named Perry's that has a new French Toast flavor. It looks like the company is based in NY & has some interesting ice cream pints

Being introduced to other foods across the country or world is one of the best and worst things about the Internet. :disappointed:

It's very satisfying to finish off a pint of Talenti. And knowing that you're giving your Breyers Gelato to your dad, that you have room for MOAR ice cream!

Finally got to go to Carvel and try the Nutella soft serve. It's definitely a mild taste, but it was worth the calories to try out. And I enjoyed the waffle bowl that came with it very much too..

It's good. It's not just straight up ice cream, it's got little chocolate sliver/shards in it. It's also fluffy like their light recipe ice creams often are. But it looks like mud. lol. My husband came into the kitchen while I was scooping it out and he said, "Ew, that looks disgusting! I'm not eating that, what is it?" and I said "It's deep dark chocolate and I got it because I knew you wouldn't eat it." and gave him the evil grin. Bwahahahaha
