Put in Thursday's weight cause I can't stand that I'm walking every day and recording all my food and still the scale has me up today. I know about salt, and not drinking enough water and eating too much too far after dinner. Shows up the next day. But still argh!

Kind of frustrated and discouraged. Yesterday I actually went over calories about 200 points, the first time in months, it seems. The "who cares" voice gets stronger when I'm feeling like my efforts are failing. Need to always eat my prunes, drink my water, get that exercise. Glad Natelie has been walking with me because I've been feeling discouraged and need that support.

Happy about this new number! I am weighing at 11 today but excited to see a number I haven't seen in a while! Still struggling with lung stuff but will get it figured out soon. Better yesterday but today not so great. Feel like I'm making progress with figuring out what I can and can not eat. Looks like a gluten-free vegan with fish and poultry added.

OMG! So happy! The scale said 189.9 this morning! I've reached my goal of getting out of the 90s decade! My new goal is to get to 185 or better by the end of August. Still not feeling great but some better.

Love this number! Doing my 30 minutes of walking and letting go of the weight, slow but sure.

was on two rounds of antibiotics and my digestive system is not happy. Plying it with papaya spears, probiotics, kombucha. Not a happy tummy. Weight has been bouncing but hopefully, my gut is improving and digestion will improve.

A tough week. My mom died :'( , my son left for California for a great internship with Tesla :'(:) . Won't be home till Christmas. The first week of teaching a DeVry class. Still have a sinus infection and lung congestion, feeling tired. Have been diagnosed with Seborrheic dermatitis or facial dandruff, which I remember that my father had in his eyebrows. Thanks, dad. I am my father's daughter, his face, his skin, his predisposition to addiction, depression, and ADD. Oh, also creativity. Glad I didn't get his macular degeneration, gout, high blood pressure. Have mom's sinus, ear, and lung issues. Know it could all be worse and grateful to be me.

Fall Challenge: September 4th through November 6: 9-week challenge. Finally in the 180s, though bouncing around in the high 80's. During this challenge, I would like to get into the 170s. My tools: mfp, noom, daily 30-minute walk, reducing my carbs. Adding gentle yoga, swim fit, weight machines.

Hate putting that number that shows my weight is up but not giving up. Walking my 5 days a week and staying in calories (but eating all my exercise calories). Still not feeling well, can't breathe but will see the doctors this week and next and try to keep on working on my health. Great live video meeting with Gangaji today.

Oh, happy day! Had about 7000 steps yesterday and didn't eat every available calorie. Seems to have paid off. I Will keep on keeping on and the hills and valleys are just part of the scenary. But really feel like celebrating a valley. Feeling better in terms of lungs. See pulmonary guy today. Bruised a muscle at my waist but seem to be doing OK today. It acted up yesterday after I walked so will see how it goes after my walk today. Three pounds in 5 days? Means I was just retaining water or had a congested colon. Or whatever. So now want to cruise for the 185 mark!

Not my weigh-in day but I've been pushing for 185 for a while and glad to see it show up on my scale today. My energy is not that great today but I've gotten everything done I needed to today and am going to just rest.

Think I might have a better number on the weekend--we will see. Using the weight machines, just starting, and still walking my 30 minutes. Think I am kind of depressed. Struggling with finances because my varsity tutor classes have slowed way down. Lagging with getting something else. My house is a mess, which really bugs me but don't seem to have the focus/energy to do anything about it. Overwhelm blocks me.

Yikes. I have been stressed out lately and not walking as much, not tracking my food as much. It shows on the scale for sure. What worked for me to lose 50 pounds was to track my 1200 calories and use the 5/2 fast as well. So, going to start tracking religiously and have two 500-600 calories days a week. Maybe Monday/Tuesday or Monday/Wednesday. Not feeling solid about the days but will get there.

Have been iffy about logging food each day (usually falling off the wagon in the evening) and not walking every day. But seem to be going in the direction I like to head. Have sort of given up on noom.

So much for my walking 30 minutes most days. I sprained my knee the day before Halloween. Have been unable to use stairs and looks like it will be 3-6 weeks before I will be able to use my own washer/dryer (in the basement) or go up to my bedroom (2nd floor). Showering at the rec center, need to go soon today. It has been tough! but getting through it. Started on Adderall for ADD on 10/27/21 and wonder if it will give my metabolism a boost. We will see. This morning can't remember if I've taken it or not but will assume I did. Don't want to risk taking a double dose. So basically I am disabled for now but have made progress with the accommodations I need--have a great cane, knee brace, handles for my toilet, get a bed this weekend for the first floor so I no longer have to sleep on the uncomfortable couch although I did finally figure out how to get some sleep by putting ice packs in the right place.

The Winter Holiday months have arrived. This next 8-week challenge is from November 6th through January 1st. Tracking daily and discovering alternatives to calorie-dense holiday treats will be my focus. Trying to move as much as I can despite my sprained knee. Getting in 3 - 4000.00 steps a day. Will do more when I can.

The ADD med does reduce my appetite. Working on what dose helps me to focus but doesn't make me grouchy. Happy that it does not seem to be affecting sleep. Think half the therapeutic dose might be right. Tired of being physically limited, don't really like going to the rec center to shower. Need to get over that as the facility is nice.

Just started back on a 1/2 dose of the ADD med. Think that is enough for me. Went off because I had an eye bleed and was worried that the med had caused it. But now don't think so. Looking forward to getting out of the 180s. My knee is better and now can carefully go up the stairs to take a shower--this is a big deal! Felt like a person living in my car when I went to the rec center. Have my turkey breast in the freezer and bought a bag of potatoes. Have been really craving chocolate so might make a keto chocolate cake today. Adara says she is going to spend Thanksgiving with me. Hope to put up the tree that day as well.

Think the ADD med is helping me develop a better relationship with food--less hungry and not feeling the blood sugar drops. Weighing in the day before Thanksgiving and then again next Friday. Ha, I'm not stupid, at least not all the time!
