exercise minutes: 249
calories burned: 1871
NEWTs: 0
OWLs: 0
Didn't really do too much exercise last week because TOM was around and caused me so much grief. Ugh, TOM came back hard and fast once I lost that 25lbs x_x;;;;; But it's okay because I think it helped me with this weeks loss XD0 -
I lost .4 lbs as of my weigh in (and then gained TWO this morning from yesterday's superbowl pig out)
exercised 186 minutes that I remembered to log.
7 NEWTS
3 OWLS0 -
this feels like a wasted check in.. school and work have kept me super busy and my eating habits have sucked
gain of 0.5lbs
only exercised 31 minutes
>_< hopefully this week goes better.0 -
So, my goals...
Last week I reduced my net calorie goal to 1200 to try to shake my body out of a rut. I've been losing and gaining the same 2 lbs since early January and it's starting to drive me mad. I only want to lose a maximum of 4 lbs from where I am -- why is it so hard?!
This week I upped my calorie goal to 1300 to make sure I don't stay too low for too long. This is a 180 calorie deficit from maintenance for me. I'm going to try to hit this weekly goal right on target.
Saturday is my 4 year anniversary with my boyfriend and we're going to go to the Spaghetti Factory... but there are nutrition facts online and I'm going to plan ahead!
Another goal for this week is to stay up on calcium. I got some new dark chocolate calcium supplements that are easy to remember to take ;-) Only 60 calories for 2 chocolates, and that's supposed to be a full daily dose of calcium for the average sized adult.0 -
erin i would never be able to eat that little. Not ever.0
-
Erin I need calcium too and can't swallow large horse pills they come in and looked all over for one I will actually take. I take the gummy vitafusion ones. Yes they have some sugar in them (very little) but the ingredients are natural and i consider it my afternoon treat to take my vitamins now!
But don't have the choc ones from that brand they are awful…the ones I take are 25 calories for 2 and then I also take a daily vitamin by them which is hardly any calories. Its like my healthy candy snack each day and keeps me from dessert.
When I have choc attack I buy expensive bar of dark chocolate and eat just one square slowly….
This week I am having no choc…staying with no dessert. So far doing good!0 -
Marla i bought some gummy vitamins (For fighting off a cold - C, zinc, echinacea) at trader joes and OMG they were so good we were eating htem like actual candy! (I figured extra of those things wouldn't hurt)0

Hi all,
Just stopping in to say hi and sorry for missing out on this week's weigh-in. I got taken down hard by the stomach flu and have been useless for a while. I lost a few pounds, but I think it's because of the sickness -- didn't want to falsely inflate/deflate our stats with my huge (fake) weight loss and 0 exercise minutes. This week's going to be hard getting back into the swing of things.
I guess that's my goal: get back into the habit of logging (log every day) and working out (every day the rest of this week).
Hope all is well!0 -
Hope you feel better, drink lots of tea and healthy broth.
Wanted to add the vitamins are on sale at Costco now.0 -

Yeah, it's the curse of being 5'2"0 -

Hmm, I actually like the chocolates! Even though I am spoiled by really good dark chocolate (like the Chocolove dark chocolate with orange peel...oh my god), I can still enjoy some less awesome chocolate.0 -

Yikes! Stomach sicknesses are my LEAST favourite out of all of the bad choices of sicknesses. One time I got a stomach virus and thew up and poo'd at the same time for 4 days IT WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE THING EVER. Hope yours wasn't that bad!!0 -
erin i would never be able to eat that little. Not ever.
Yeah, it's the curse of being 5'2"
I actually am sad that I'm "only" 5'6" because I see ladies who are 5'9" or 5'10" and think "OMG I COULD EAT SO MUCH"0 -
5'3" can relate, when I try to tell people how little i have to eat to lose they always say its too little. I am finally stepping into doing it right, having a bit more at breakfast, small lunch, small snack and lighter dinner.
The world seems to revolve around a large meal at dinner and that has been hard for me to change. Still working on it but better this week. Thats why when we go out I love tapas or small plates places…0 -
Yeah, I really had to get used to what foods were low calorie, and what foods that aren't are worth it to me to fit into my day.
But I eat my exercise calories back and I work out every day, so I usually get to eat 1,500 to 1,900 worth of food to still be at my goal0 -
Check in lost 1.3 lbs now 145. Exercise min 345. 7 newts 0 owls. (I had gym injury a few weeks ago pulled muscle in lower back and hip so can only walk and stretch or do easy exercises for a few more weeks, I have been walking or doing treadmill 45 min a day)
Diet went much better this week.0 -
Hey all. Hope everyone had a good week. Tweeked my macros, BMR, TDEE, etc. Have been eating a lot more calories and carbs plus increasing protein. Have maintained at 171 pounds, but am toning up, more muscle tone, less flab. Yay..
7 newts, 7 owls. 1310 exercise minutes. 10,270 cals burned.
Wish I was still losing to contribute to pounds lost, but am more than happy in maintenace mode and eating a lot. lol
Good luck to everyone this week.
Troy0 -
Checking in with 330 exercise minutes, 1,435 cals burned. 0 newts 0 owls.
Seems so little compared to everyone else :frown:0 -
Checking in!
Gained 0.5 lb (the half lb I lost last week...).
889 exercise minutes for 4251 calories burned
7 NEWTs
My personal goal of getting my calcium worked pretty well. I got about 120% 5 days this week, and 50-70% the other 2 days.
My goal of averaging 1,300 a day this week worked out. I made it very close, just a little in the green!
7 OWLs
I worked hard this week. My muscles are looking pretty rad ;-D0 -

Every minute of exercise is great. Don't worry about competing with others. You are doing wonderful!0 -
Hi, couple of slip ups this week, no weight gained but none lost either!
No owls or newts but 330mins, 2919 calories burnt
Back on the wagon this week, going to put some more gym time in to compensate for the healthy-ish tapas valentine meal I have planned with the apple crumble I'm making for my boyfriend ...and of course it'd be rude not to have some!0 -
I logged a .8 loss this week and then IMMEDIATELY gained like 2lbs of water weight :noway: but I don't care! As long as I get to see a lower number over time that's what matters.
I've got 5 owls and 7 NEWTS -- although I didn't talk about it, I did meet my goals every time. I guess I should stop back in.
Exercise minutes are 256 and 986 cals...hmmm that doesn't really sound right but whatever. I didn't log all my burpees and things so thats a bit skewed I suppose.
Troy - dropping flab is way better than losing weight in my opinion. I'd happily stay the same weight forever if all this flabby fat went away.0 -
Oh and i guess I will mention:
I try to eat at least 85 grams of protein per day (.8 grams x 57 KG of lean body weight) and I have my calories set to 1550 before exercise but I frequently swing around that.
I generally eat about 1750 or I'm not happy.0 -
Anyone have Slytherin goals for me this week?0
-
oops, goals. Ok!
OWLs: Add 20 minutes of additional activity to each day. It can be any kind of activity you want as long as its beyond what you would normally do. This can include little things like taking the long way to and from work, or parking extra far away every time you go out, etc. As long as it adds up to 20 minutes each day. 1 OWL for each day you do this.
NEWTs: Give us 7 positive things you like about your body. If you can't think of 7 you can supplement with Non-scale victories (fitting into a smaller size, less out of breath when you go to the store, whatever). You can do these each day or all at once0 -

Haha thanks ^_^ mhmm... I still think I should be doing more though. Am such a potato :laugh:0 -
My positives for Monday and Tuesday:
- I like how toned my legs are getting! I've always been uncomfortable with them but they've started to get muscular and I'm proud of them now! I'm especially proud of the way they look because I know how much work has gone into it, so seeing my legs now reminds me of my inner strength and commitment!
- I also like my tummy, and how toned it is. It's so easy to tone up my abs -- they were the first part of my body to look fit when I started working out. I appreciate them for being so easy to work with0 -
Thanks for the new goals, by the way! For the extra minutes -- I don't have a particular amount I do every day, so I'll compare my total to last weeks total to see if I make the extra ( 20 minutes x 7 ).0
-
Positive about my body for Wednesday:
Though I had struggles with my stomach and digestive problems, and I'm still paying off a hospital bill because of it, I am now very thankful for my body's sensitivity to abuse. Because if it didn't tell me that my behavior was destructive, I wouldn't have gone on this journey, and I wouldn't be where I am today! So: I appreciate my body for being sensitive and asking me for good treatment!0 -
Oooh, that sound bad erin! but I agree its a good thing to at least know.
I would like to have positives to post today but I went shopping for new pants and now I'm feeling a bit down on everything sooooo hopefulyl i'll have something tomorrow.0
