Anyone up for a challenge?! Most number of rollouts in one set. Get to it!

Post up a vid if you want to.

I don't have a vid as I did it randomly the other day but I got 55 from knees.

Have done 7 from feet.

    Yeah they are seriously tough!

Tip for people new to these. Take a big deep breath as you're rollout out and hold it. (just as you would squatting or deadlifting) to really tighten up the core.

Pending how I'm feeling after squats tonight, I might try and get a vid of some standing ones.

It to easy for me I can go along time on an ab wheel try the ab workout routine that I consider mid level that I posted,I did every thing in that workout with 30 break between sets and 1 minute rest between exercise ,I usually do more but it was my rest day but I got restless,I admin though a year ago the ab wheel worked me hood but has become inefficient over time .

Agreed. About 10x as hard imo!
  • This is cool! We have this in our gym and they call it - ab roller. I often use/do this as my warm up [before] and cool down [after] my back/abs day workouts. This is a killer workout not just for abs but for back and shoulders as well. I often do 3 sets between 12-15 reps.

My knee is still injured so I haven't been able to really give this challenge a try but for the past couple of weeks we have done 18 on our knees every other day in my body sculpt class and I tried to do one standing yesterday and failed miserably.

Yeah I got the point the 1st time I have done a ton of standing one still not sufficient for me sorry! I do a lot of core strength exercises which helps with workouts that some people may find hard.

Yeah, definately not fair for you to attempt this after an ab workout. Give it a try when you're fresh.

i tried those superman plank pushups.

    fark me. lol.

lots of tension going on, not alot of pushupping, :p
I got off the ground twice, but only by about 10mm, lol.

    something to work on/strive for.

the roll out challenge will kill me i suspect!!

    still a great effort Kerri!

I was going to go for it today after squats but I'm not sure my back will be up to it after the kb swings challenge yesterday. May have to wait until next week. See how I go.

"ONLY 35" shoot, I know most men can't do 35, you're killing it!

That's the thing with this exercise. I don't think there is much gap at all between male & female abilities.

Upper body stuff: guys have big advantage
Lower body: fairly even IMO when talking weights as % of bw
core stuff: lower body weight really helps a lot to even things out.

I'm not going to be able to do the rollouts tonight. Back is fried. Will have to be next week.
