Niiiice! tell me how you get on with the fly-by-wire gears - nearly went for them on my new build, but bottled out at the last minute

I am a bit sceptic myself but i havent read a bad report yet so when i seen a 2012 model with Di2 at the same price as a 2013 with 105 i couldnt let it go :) Should arrive monday so will give you a full report.

I wasn't worried about how the gears worked or all that stuff - more that I'd never built a bike with all that stuff on, and reading the technical documents and watching the video's it was just a step too alien for me - now, if i'd bought a bike with it all pre-installed, then I could take it apart and rebuild it to see how it went together - but the thought of having to get it right sight unseen for a groupset that costs as much as Ultegra Di2 did gave me the heebie-jeebies!

Anyway - I've got the wired Ultegra now, which may find its way onto a suitable Ti frame for next winter, leaving the Dolan vacant for whatever I decide to treat myself to next Christmas

I've been using Di2 Ultegra for 6 months. Love it - shifting is so much faster & precise. I was using a mix of 105, Ultegra, D/A - all second hand.

Like you I was skeptic and had absolutely no interest to change plus way too expensive but one day my BF took the bike away and returned it "electronically"...

Have fun with it - keep us posted

Got a Nishiki Pueblo 24 this afternoon, traded in my Roadmaster. I love the Nishiki, esp the front suspension and the wide tires! the gears change smoothly and BMB did a great job!
