    Started keto 2 days ago after reading up on it for ages!
    I'm getting married in September and have my hen do in 5 weeks (4 days in Portugal) so really want to be feeling good in a bikini!

    I've been doing keto/no carb/low carb for about a week now and I've been feeling really good about it except for the occasional weakness at the end of the day. I've been shocked at how well I've been doing, and really proud of myself for checking EVERYTHING for carbs now, I've been learning lots ! :D

    Rounding out week 1 now.. feeling pretty good! Instead of aiming for 17 carbs per day (my 5% target), I usually just aim for 0 and then end up taking in around 10-15 from pure ignorance (accidental carb-y vegetable consumption, etc). Ketostix are showing ketosis for a few days now so I'm happy!

    I grew up around Keto. My parents have been on a roller coaster ride with it for quite awhile now. Mom lost over 100 pounds on it! I've done it before, but only for short-term goals. I've gained too much weight in the past few years, so I started Keto again this week but this time I'm in it for the long haul. I'm excited to meet everyone!

    I have been overweight since 9th grade. Although I hide the weight well I know its not good. I am a 5'7 Italian American and Pasta was a way of life. Not anymore!
    I am aiming to be the skinniest Male in my short fat Italian family! lol
    Although I cannot eat pasta anymore, I still get my Italian eats on with Keto!

    Also I'm doing it for my wife and kids. I need to be as healthy as I can for them and being 100lbs overweight wasn't helping.
