My plan was to run the trail for my 3 miles. However, the bugs in Ga are unrelenting, they chased me right off the trail after a mile. So ran to my car and drive to a near by park to run the rest. I tried being adventurous but next time I'll need bug spray first.0 -

Aaah, Monday. My spin class day. Wish those bikes would track the miles. 50 minutes or fast riding and the sweat was literally dripping off me! My legs are protesting running on Sunday and biking this morning though. Think I'll show them who's boss and take the dogs for a walk!
@Healthyally Way to go with cycling. That ride is grueling. My class has a tracking device. I am new at it and cover 20-23 miles in a class. You are probably much faster than me.
I'm actually pretty new at it myself. I only went a few time before injuring my hamstring and being out of things for several weeks. Yesterday was only my third class back since that and I couldn't finish the first week I returned because of tightness in my leg. I enjoy it though!

3/27 6.65 miles (dogs made it for another 2.15 miles tonight. I decided if I'm going to lose weight, so are they!)

I was running in the woods along a pretty heavily used trail and I saw a racoon in broad daylight! He stayed on the trail even after he saw me. First he started to run off down the trail, then he turned and held his ground as I jogged toward him! Rabies is common around here so I got kind of scared. I backed up several feet, waved my hands, and made lots of clucking and shooing noises at him. Finally he sloooowly walked about ten feet off the path. I sprinted past and then kept checking behind me to make sure I wasn't being followed by a crazed rabid racoon!
Later I ran through a field and was startled by a herd of deer. Some of them stepped into the woods, most just stood 50 feet away and stared at me. Usually I like seeing wildlife but this was a little ridiculous.0 -

I live in a city, so on my Sunday run in the park, I saw horses, ducks...but it's mostly people watching: I saw a rasta runner w/ his hair tucked up into a really impressive bandana-printed buff, women in hijab power walking, and identical twin teenage girl runners blazing past me. Never boring...
