Since no one outside of my birth country can pronounce my name right 😅
But girls, something horrible happened. I found a tick on my stomach a week ago. My husband removed it and it was small but I am soooo scared now since I read that if I do get borreliossis from the bite it could cause problems with the baby. And I won’t have any symptoms for 2-3 weeks, but I got a fever today that didn’t last long but I am still freaked out 😩 I just started finally feeling pregnant and looking forward to the baby and everything and than this happens 😤

Is that the same as lyme disease? When is your next dr appointment, maybe you can call them and tell them you got bit by a tick and see if they can test you or something?

Love the name Mina, good choice :)

@csilladev I love Mina too!! Also second calling into the OB/ nurse line just to gauge initial reaction and see what they suggest.

    30-years-old 2nd pregnancy
    Height 5'6"
    SW: 150lbs
    Goal: 25lbs

    Week 4: 150
    Week 5: 150
    Week 6: 150
    Week 7: 151 (+1)
    Week 8: 150
    Week 9: 149 (-1)

Not feeling well this week- MS has turned into extreme aversions and feeling overly full after eating a regular-sized meal. If I get too hungry I end up exhausted and nauseated. If I eat too much at once, I end up exhausted and in pain. I don't think I've ever experienced indigestion in my life, even the last time I was pregnant, but I think that's what this is.

3 weeks from today! No, I am having a repeat c-section on 7/29 which is 39 weeks, unless I go into labor sooner than that (not likely, I went to 41.5 and 42+1 with my other two kids)

Yes, that’s the one I think. 😔 Going to my OB on Monday so I’ll ask them if they could do some tests. As for now there is no redness and I don’t have any symptoms which is good, but symptoms can also come later 🤷‍♀️ I hope everything is going to be fine! Can’t wait to see the little girl 😁
BTW, it’s been exactly a month since I started monitoring my food intake with MFP with the goal to keep my weight the same and I really have stayed the same weight throughout the month. I am really happy about that since I did start overweight already. I hope that I will be able to continue like that and avoid all the complications I had due to my weight gain in my previous pregnancy.

We've been in the process of moving recently, and I just found my scale today. I weighed midday after I'd already eaten 2 meals, but I'm glad to have an idea of where I'm at. I've been eating so much lately, so I was dreading weighing. I have been pretty active lately, though, too.

@karen_thinmint Thank you 😊 It’s been 3 weeks and i have symptoms of a cold but without a fever, but my daughter had the same and she is still coughing, my husband says he has a sore throat as well so I am pretty sure it’s not from the tick. If I don’t get any other symptoms in the next two weeks that I’m quite positive that everything is ok.

I have had a hungry week, gained 2 lbs basically because we had guests every day and they were all bringing chocolate, which is my biggest weakness! 😩 Today is the first day where I managed to get back on track. Plus I have started working out again since I finally feel good (apart from the sore throat and coughing) 💪

I will make this pregnancy a lot better than the first! 😁

I weigh myself every morning and it did get up to 190.4 earlier in the week one day but hasn't been up that high since. One more week to go! It's so weird knowing when I'm going to have the baby. I was having some crampy contractions last night and I thought maybe it was labor, so I got my hospital bag all thrown together, and packed a bag for my 3 year old to go to grandma's house, but then the contractions stopped :( Boo. My braxton hicks normally just feel like tightening, with no cramps. so I got a little excited.

@hesn92 That's so exciting! It's almost baby time!

    30-years-old 2nd pregnancy

Do you all increase calories intentionally to start gaining? I've been struggling to hit 2k lately because of the indigestion and nausea with eating more than a small portion, but I know that weight gain needs to start soon. I'm hoping the digestive stuff clears up as 2nd tri starts, but wondering if anyone else found solutions while struggling with morning sickness/ related in earlier weeks. Or do you just not worry and it takes care of itself? Maybe I should ask my midwife...

@hesn92 Wow! You are almost there! I’m sure the baby will come in the next couple days 😁
@noel2fit I actually don’t add calories but do go over the target sometimes. But I shouldn’t gain more than 15 lbs to Beginn with so it’s fine for me. I would talk to the midwife or dr and ask what they think. As I know you should add 200-300 cal in the second trimester and 300-500 in the third. I’m on week 21. Started calorie counting after I had gained about 10 lbs. That was 5 weeks ago. Since than I’m on maintenance calories and I have maintained. I did gain 2 lbs but that was because I went waaaaay overboard with food and we had guests for 4 days straight and they all brought chocolate which I of course ate a bunch of. Since than I went back to maintenance and got back on track.

@hesn92 yay so close!! So excited for you :)

I haven't been tracking my weight too diligently but I am up about 25lbs (at around 33 weeks) so I am right on track. I want to stay around 35lbs total.

You are all doing great, keep it up!

@hesn92 woo-hoo! You are almost there!!! My weight is all over the place now, and I dont even have swelling. A few weeks ago, I gained 2.5 pounds overnight, then it went away. That same week my Dr. Office said I had lost weight since my previous week. Today, I am suddenly down 1.5 pounds and I have another Dr. Appt.

@noel2fit I didn't intentionally increase calories. My MS ended around 16 weeks and my appetite naturally increased around 18 weeks. If you are eating healthy, I think it is normal to not gain much in the 1st trimester. You should talk to your Midwife about it though.

@sardelsa You are doing great! Are you all moved into your new house? Did you set up your gym or are you done for the rest of this pregnancy?

Sounds like you are doing well, weight fluctuations can be annoying especially with pregnancy it's like a mystery what is going on sometimes!

We are moved into our temporary house (while our new one is being renovated) the gym room has all the stuff all over the place but it is not set up yet, so I can't really do much there! But I might try to squeeze in a band or cardio workout today just to get things moving. I still feel good so I want to get my workouts in while I can!
