    I shared it in the main thread but I must share it here too. Thanks to Reese and Bregalad5 knowingly or unknowingly dragged me into the world of running. I did other stuff too. But 90% of the time is run, walk or crawl. That's how it will be (at least for a long while)

    ...I haven't checked into this group in a while. (I've been on/off MFP for a while all together :indifferent: ) Hopefully if I keep checking in here I can get back in a groove and see results like Nona :bigsmile:

    Sunday - 0.5 mile (hiking...going uphill says I need to get in shape! lol)

  • 9/16 My first 10k 6.2 miles ran the whole thing
    9/17 1.25 mile walk (got rained out)
    9/18 5.12 miles Intervals

    Monday ~ 1.5 miles (walking)
    Tuesday ~ 1.2 miles (walking)

    Total 2.7 miles

  • Sun: 6.35mi Run ~ Plaza 10K Time 1:03:57.3. Age pos: 83 of 174(F). Gender pos: 656 of 1450 (Sah weet!). Finish Pos: 1248 of 2289. Changed my RK to tell me my pace at every .25mi... seemed to help me manage to keep my pace fairly even... between that and the fairly flat course... I shaved nearly 5mins from my HHR 10K time! :D 10:11min/mi., 5.89mph avg. (My only "walk" breaks were the short time it took me to grab water and toss it back at the 2 aid stations) :happy:
    Mon: 3.12mi Run (slower/easier "recovery" run - ran my neighborhood route w/no stops whatsoever - First time ever! :smile: )

    Wed: ___mi Run
    Thu: ___mi Cycling
    Fri: Rest Day
    Sat: ___mi Run

    Sunday - 5.5k running "Orange Sport Royal Klang Town Run 2012" race celebrating Malaysia Day.
    My PB 37m 52secs :bigsmile: :bigsmile: 6.88 min per km average.
    Monday - 5k walk+elliptical
    Tuesday - 4k elliptical
    Wednesday - 1.5k elliptical
    Thursday - rest day

    I am still contemplating for my 6k race on Sunday.

    I was going to back out of the 10k on Sunday in Omaha, NE because the other person I was going with decided they were not going to go. Well last night I booked a room, made my grocery and travel list and tonight after work I pack. I am not going to be able to run the whole thing but I haven't total given up on myself. I will still have the challenge posted and email sent with a little help from Nona I hope :)
