Fitness - to walk over 10000 steps at least one of the days I am on holiday next week - theme parks 3 days straight - maybe I will make it over the 10000 twice if I am lucky.

I completed my Leslie Sansone 30 mile challenge for January. In fact, I walked 33 miles between Leslie DVDs, treadmill and the park. I'm quite proud as I couldn't start until Jan. 7th because of my ankle. My goal for February is 40 miles. I plan to incorporate a little light jogging if my ankle & knee hold up...if not strictly walking. I also will continue with daily challenges and I need to begin strength training at least 2-3 days a week.

I lost 4lbs in January so I'm very motivated!!!

That's awesome! I love Leslie Sansone DVDs. She is so motivating.

I have decided I am going to walk/run 100 miles in February. This is day one and I am 3.17 miles down.

Wow, great goal! Go for it!

I walked just over 54 miles in January. I'm in a challenge group to walk 50 miles per month. I'm so happy I did it. On to February. It's a shorter number of days so I'll have to hustle a little more. I'm only counting exercise walking, not general every day moving.

I've got to find the energy to get my bum off the couch. I haven't been to the gym in 2 weeks, since I got the flu. Still losing but its gone just to 1 lb a week instead of the 2 I was doing. Got to get back out there!

I walked 60 miles in February

I have also today bought a Treadmill and started the Zombies, Run! 5k training, which is about 8 weeks worth. It's like the c25k program except you're training to be able to run away from zombies in a post-zombie-apocalyptic world. I love it, I've already done the first run.

I've hit 30 miles walking this month so far...trying to get as close to 40 as possible. On my birthday trip to South Carolina, my friends and I are spending a day in Charleston and plan to walk the Cooper River bridge which is 2.7 miles across. As we have to get back to the car we will be going "round trip" and walking 5.4 miles. All 3 of us are eating healthy and exercising so the trip will definitely include exercise and eating as healthy as possible. I will indulge a little on Sunday...my birthday.

Missed yesterday, I have started to do turbo jam in the mornings-the music pumps me up for my VERY busy days teaching summer school! Going to start back with strength training in the afternoons this week. Gardening takes up a big bunch of my time too!
