Ok folks! I've set up this thread so we can check in and encourage each other as we complete our six week 100 Pushup Challenge!

There are no obligations, but feel free to report your accomplishments (trust me, every pushup I manage will be a MAJOR personal victory) by telling us what week/day you're on and how many pushups you did. New people can join in any time, we'll just keep this puppy going as long as there is interest!

Round One starts tomorrow, Monday January 28, 2013. I'm going to do my pushups Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Let's git 'er done ladies and gents!!!

Don't forget to do your initial test to see which "column" you should follow for week one!

And then follow the recommendations for the first week:

I'll be doing column one (I'm a puny weakling lol).

Push ups are already part of my exercise routine and I have done this program in the past although I never made it to 100 in one go. So sure, count me in. I'll do the initial test tomorrow but I'm guessing I'll probably be in the middle column. That said I will be doing knee push ups as I have a problem with one of my wrists that means full push ups are almost impossible.

    Yay push ups!!

    Who else is joining?

I think I'll join in! My strength training days are Tues, Thurs, Sat. I do 90 pushups per session normally, but never in one set. I'll take the test and see what column I need to start at tomorrow!

Day 1: I'm column 1. Did 12 modified (knees). Hard to keep form. Not too horrible, though.

so when people did the last rep I take it you went until you could do no more? I used the app (android) and just did the nine for the last set (at level 3)??

On the printed schedule I have it says "MAX" (min #)" so I took that as go to collapse, to a minimum of the number stated. For me yesterday the min was 3 and I managed 6 before I couldn't get back up :)

I took the initial test yesterday. Since my result for that was exactly the same as Week 1, Day 1, Set 1, I went ahead and started.

    Week 1, Day 1 (Column 2) complete!

My first day completed! (ouch). Week 3, Column2, Day 1...which was 12/17/13/13/22 (max).

Big congrats to everyone on Day 1!

I should be giving this a go. Managed 5 modified (knees) before I crumbled. I did the test a little while after having done a lot of wall ones ( I try doing a bunch of those everytime I enter the kitchen.. well the wall is right there, so.. XD ) and I definitely feel it in my neglected muscles.

    Week 1, day 2: 10/12/8/8/max-28

Kind of surprised myself with that 28, could be that I did them just after I woke up so I was too bewildered to realise I was tired

Done did! Got day one outta the way today. 2/3/2/2/5 A pitiful result, but oh well, leaves all the more room for improvement. XD

Also jumped on the 200 squats and 200 sit-ups thing. Didn't know those existed until I went to that logger site.
