What a brilliant idea. ;D
Noms over the past few days:
Ox heart/liver nachos on sweet potato crisps, topped with GY, guar and salsa.
Salmon sushi with a crapton of wasabi sauce. Because I like wasabi sauce.
Pumpkin cinammon sludge. That's a whole kg (1000g) of pumpkin, a tad bit of cinnamon and stevia, left to chill in the freezer for a few hours. Truth be told... that's only half of it. I ate the other half while mulching it up - it's too damn tasty, hot, to cold.
Chocolate caramel version pod the above. Om nom nom.
Goat steaks and baked potato, all coated in a homemade goat-feta gravy, because I felt like being ironic.
I enjoy this. Does that make me weird?
these look delish!! def making the pumpkin sludge!!0 -
Pork leg steak with applesauce. Sweet potato fries with greek yogurt dip. Glass of red wine, because I'm so very classy.
Mixed berries on top of a dark chocolate, almond butter protein scramble.0 -

Primal "Black Forest Ice Cream".
Basically, two frozen, whipped bananas with a scoop of whey protein, two tablespoons of cocoa powder, raspberries and half a strawberry lint bar. OM!
Yum trying this tonight!
That looks amazing. I'm a chocoholic. Do you whip the bananas before or after freezing?0 -
Sweet Potato Paleo Pie!
Not sure if that worked just in case feel free to check out my primal food blog I'm just starting: http://munzinomnomz.wordpress.com/
Warning: I might do a lot of rambling in addition to food.0 -
anyone know how to make a picture smaller? It's weirdly gigantic and cut off?0

After. A blender could even do the trick.

It's from Paleo Comfort Foods (A GREAT COOKBOOK BY THE WAY)
But I just googled and someone else has copied the recipe online:

I know that rice, potatoes and other white starches and grains are not Primal. I was not aware they were allowed on the Paleo diet, but whatever works for you. Those dishes look great.0

Actually, I do believe they are acceptable - I know as a fact that Mark eats both white potatoes and white rice (via sushi form), however, as for "other grains", yes, they're off limits.
Now. Teh eatz:
Apricot-yoghurt chicken-curry with scrambled egg whites on white rice. Never fear, egg yolks were not put to waste - I'd never do that. Nope. they were instead "invested" in...
Homemade, coconut ice cream! With raspberries, two chilled bananas, coconut flakes and an obligatory cherry on top.
MOTHER OF GOD. Ice cream was good. May have to post a recipe up on it - could've easily served three people, but I'm a pig and ate it all. ^_^0 -
HOLY MOLY! This all looks good!0
-
Lunch today:
Pile of spinach with southwest style chicken salad on top (chicken, avocados, homemade "well fed" mayo, fresh salsa, green onions, red pepper, lime juice, cumin, garlic, etc).
edited to add: Maybe this doesn't look all that appealing anymore now that I see it up close, but I swear it's delicious. Bacon would make it even better.0 -
These thread looks so yummy!
I will try to add my own pictures0 -
Salad with Pulled Pork and Fresh Pico de Gallo

No pic - but some salmon sushi rolls eaten up at my Nan's. Om nom.

Homemade strawberry cottage cheese "ice cream" with on top of frozen bananas, topped with coconut flakes and a cherry.0 -

Coconut flour "Primal Pizza" with bacon, pepperoni, mozzarella, capsicum, mushrooms and tomatoes. Aw yea.
Dessert was mores the 20% of my 80/20, so I won't post it. :P0 -
Tonight's dinner...Spicy chicken stuffed peppers topped with nuts and avocado mash

My Friday snacks and lunches at the office are usually a random rendition of everything I have left in the office fridge that needs to be used before the weekend. Today's menu: arugula, soft goat cheese, mixed seed and bean sprouts, guacamole, and two poached eggs. Who knew you can poach eggs in the microwave?! I didn't until 30 minutes ago...my coworkers all think I'm crazy.

Meatza!!
Pizza sauce, pepperoni, black olives and mozzarella on a hamburger patty. I was going to make a gluten free pizza with rice flour, but this was sooo much better (and simpler!)0 -
I know the picture's not great but....why is it not showing????0

You need to put it in lower case - img instead of IMG.
I'd have done it for you, but it's your noms - you deserve to put it up. :P0 -
First I took this.
Then I did this.
And turned it into:
Bacon/Ox heart/Lamb liver nachos with GY, guar and salsa with a cherry tomato on top.
Dessert was nothing too special. Three frozen bananas, raspberries and a tablespoon of almond butter. 'twas legit.0 -

Meatza!!
:O Always wanted to make one of those!
Now I have my very own meat grinder, that will become reality. ;D What's your recipe?0 -
Got my hands of some of this stuff today:
Gluten-free pasta? Sold! Sure, I was never a big pasta fanatic pre-coeliac diagnosis (in fact, mac and cheese ended up usually being tossed half finished - bacon eaten, of course), but this was a nice experiment.
Ate both packets cause I'm a fatass, and it even then it was JUST enough to make decent "offal spaghetti bolognese with last night's leftovers.
Bacon/Ox heart/Lamb liver and baked potato bolognese on gluten free noodles with a mozzarella and guac.
The pasta itself was 100% flavorless, but hey, tasted good when drowned in sauce, cheese and meat juice. Might make again!
Bowl of four pureed bananas, coconut flakes and a coconut lint bar and a separate bowl of raspberries.
Then I went all Gordon Ramsy on that shiz.

I used a hamburger patty with lots of seasoned tomato sauce, pepperoni (I know, baaaad stuff), cheese and olives. Baked the patties in the oven (you could grill them or pan fry). When they're done top with goodies of your choice and put back in oven til the cheese is nice and melty.0
