I need to join this challenge.. I've been struggling really bad this week. For me, more stress at school leads to crazy binges. This month already started off terrible, but there's time to change that!

Nearly binged today ./this evening. Have been eating a lot of stuff today that sometimes triggers me and I nearly blew it after a junk food afternoon snack-ate alot but didn't binge and am staying away from the kitchen!

Had the best day today! I was officially diagnosed with IBS. It sounds dumb, but I had self diagnosed myself and today I FINALLY went to the doctor to see if that's really the cause of my problems or if it was something more serious. Doctor said that's all it is so I'm happy. It's the little things...0 -

Thanks and yes, it was hard, I woke up and just lay there, totally drained and wanting to go back to sleep but I forced myself to get up and get out because being stuck in the city doesn't do me much good either. For me, a binge is often over 5000 calories, because I tend to shop specifically for a binge and buy in all the foods I often want to eat (wanting a bit of everything at once), so if I down a 1000 of junk, it is a victory really, during such a time. I envy those who consider 500 a binge as my binges are so immense at times. And these severe ones are always before my TOM starts. Not every month, but certainly every few months I become overwhelmed by intense urges to just go all out and eat everything sweet, different textures, different tastes. No idea how to overcome this.0 -

Hi Graelwyn75 - I find myself wondering most months if I will forever be a slave to the hormones around that time. I count myself lucky if I manage to not let a day like turn into a week or two of eating like that!! It's horrible. Slowly I think I'm getting better.
