Binged today :( am feeling so rotten. The day started off so well even though I was tired, but this whole evening has been eating since dinner. I feel sick and nauseous from all the sugar and food I've consumed, and am so disappointed in myself!

I am just curious as to what people consider a binge? Is it a few calories over in a day or is it when you let youself cpmpletely go and eat an excessive amounts of calores?

Well my last binge was about 5000 calories in about a 3 hour sitting. Totaling about 8000 for the day. But a binge for me is just getting into that mentality of having to have food to stuff myself with, whatever it is. I might not have even been craving it. It's all mental for me.

At least today I feel better and I'm not still in that sugar hangover of yesterday. Today is going to be a great day! Stay strong everyone!

Well, today I DID eat about 2000 calories OVER my goal... BUT, none of it was solo shame evoking binge eating style. It was all social overeating, including birthday cake.

I should have stopped when I was full, but I got peer pressured (by a tall and voracious friend whose metabolism is MUCH higher due to thyroid a medication she's on) to keep going when we got to my house with leftovers from the birthday party.

I need to make a contingency plan for if this happens in the future.

If my best friend (or any friend) offers me food, and I'm already full, I will decline even one bite, because one bite is all it takes for me to start the process of eating myself sick.

That is great! Social overeating is just a part of life. My issue is stopping here and not letting it go any farther. I would call that day a victory! Good on you!

So far so good! I've had kind of a stressful last few days but I've been pushing through them with exercise and new hobbies (like knitting to keep my hands busy). Hopefully I can keep this up through finals and all the late nights cramming.
