    I'm doing my first ever mud/obstacle course race in 2.5 weeks!

    07/22 - Mud Hero - Calgary

    08/18 - Spartan Race - Calgary

    10/06 - Tough Mudder - Vegas

    For 2013 I'm not sure which others, but definitely Tough Mudder in Calgary in July

    I've already done the Metro Dash, Original Mud Run DFW, and the Hero Rush.

    I'm doing a few more this year.

    Hardcore Mud Run - 5K Flower Mound, TX 7/14.
    Spartan Beast - Granbury, TX 12/8.

    I'm looking into a few others as well, including the RebelRace 8/18 in Dallas, TX.

    Next year I will repeat a lot of the ones I've already done this year, as well as attempt the Tough Mudder and Competitive division of the Spartan Beast.

    Just the Ontario Warrior Dash (July 22) and Run for your Lives (Sept 22) for me this year. But considering I couldn't run for more than a minute a month ago that will do for now.

    I'll be training from now until next July to get up to the 22 km needed for Tough Mudder.

    August 28 Warrior Dash (my second this year!)

    Next year though I am determined to do Warrior Dash, Mud Ninja, and Tough Mudder!

    I'm doing my first ever race like this on August 12th-Warrior Dash NY-so excited!!

    Maybe more fall races to come, we shall see!!

    20 October - 5k Extreme run - Papillion, NE

    21/22 September 2013 - TM Kansas City

    Also in 2013 - Warior Dash if it comes back to Nebraska, Spartan short-one if the get one nearby, probably a 1/2 marathon

    Lots of hopes, wishes and wants there - love the midwest but not as many race options nearby!

    I just ran my first obstacle race this weekend, and I loved it. Looking into what other races I can sign up for!

    If anyone has any suggestions, I am London (UK) based. :)

    Am signed up for the Spartan Sprint in the Midlands (UK) Sept 9th.
    Then the Zombie Evacuation 5km in Cambridge (UK) Oct 27th.

    There is another zombie run called 2.8 hours later which is done at night with heats over 5 days through various cities in the UK (the Nottingham one is currently underway) and there's one near me in Sept that I'm considering doing.

    Then next year there's Tough Mudder that i'm looking it and I'm waiting for the dates for the UK Spartans for 2013 to go up on the site so I can book on.

    This chick is finally losing her sparkle, and I can't bloody wait :D

    I think Zombie Evacuation will be my next one! Tough Mudder is a little out of my league just now, but aiming for 2014.

    2.8 Hours looks like a dream come true, but the London one is sold out! May have to travel to another city!! Looks epic!

    - Super Spartan 9/8/12 (2 laps)
    - Ultra Beast 9/22/12 (It's basically 2 laps of the Beast for a select few that were approved.)

    I'd love to do more but as a stay at home mom time and money is limited. I'll get my trifecta and I'm happy :D

    I was wondering what the ultra beast was, since I couldn't seem to find an ultra on the spartan web site. :-) I guess you could just take the timing chip off and run again, approved or not. :-)

    I really don’t care for running but I LOVE mud runs, for me it breaks up the monotony of running. I also love a good excuse to get muddy!

    I completed my first Tough Mudder in June of this year in Vail, Colorado. I will me doing my second Tough Mudder of the year on the 29th of September. I will be heading to Seattle, Washington next Friday to do the Seattle Tough Mudder with my sister. We are going to be all decked out in pink for the occasion!!!! :bigsmile:

    I have signed up to do the following Mud Runs in 2013

    Spartan Military Sprint 8k, 5 May 2013 - Fort Carson Colorado

    Tough Mudder Colorado 20k - 15 June 2013 - TBD, CO

    I hope to do more but right now it is coming down to an issue of finances and travel distance.

    Possible 2013 events:
    Seattle Tough mudder - but only if the date changes and my sister doesn't hate me after we do this years!!! :tongue:
    Zombie 5k - June 29th - Keystone, CO
    Warrior Dash 5k August 17th - Copper Mountain, CO
    Dirty Girl 5k - TBD
    Big Dog Mud Run - 5k - TBD
    .... We will see what the future holds.

    2013 will be my first Tough Mudder race in Tahoe, CA. I live in a place with cold winters so any other official events are going to have to wait until spring but it's on after that!!!

    I'm so excited about my first obstacle race! I'm volunteering at Tough Mudder Vegas on Sunday morning. Then I'll be running the Warrior Dash on 10/20 and I've even roped some of my friends/coworkers into running it with me.

    I'd like to do Run for Your Life in Temecula the next day but I don't know if that's going to work out. I'm also hoping to make it to the Spartan Sprint in Southern CA in December. It's my birthday weekend -- what a way to spend it!

    I've wanted to start doing this races all year but don't have anyone to do them with so I've been intimidated. Hopefully having a little group for my first will make me more confident to do them alone in the future. At the very least, I have a team for a TM next year and there will be a Super Spartan in April I'll probably be more prepared for.

    I have yet to complete my first mud event (being a single mom has made it difficult to travel). But, I've really gotten into my training more in the last year and am looking forward to this upcoming year.

    Oct 20 - Pretty Muddy, Chesterfield, VA (5k)
    Nov 10 - Richmond Marathon
    Dec 1 - Nutzy Funn Runn (5k)
    Jun 1, 2013 - Tough Mudder, VA Beach (We had to re-schedule after our Mid-Atlantic was cancelled last month)
    Aug 24, 2013 - Super Spartan, VA


    Luckily I've met a really awesome friend and motivator through my daughter's t-ball that has helped kick my butt into getting out here more. We're looking at schedules and hoping to fill the gaps in there for at least one run per month. We prefer the mud runs and are hoping to try out a ton of new ones this year. :)

    Just completed the Warrior Dash in Miami,FL on 11/10/12 and had a blast. I know it is a 5k, but it is my favorite race to do overall.
