36.5 weeks and 56 pounds up......sigh :-( I gained 45 with my first (lost all of that plus an extra 15...looks like I'm going to exceed that with this one!! ) I'll very much be back to square one!!! I'm so ready to start seeing the pounds go the opposite way now!! I know he will be worth it, but boy am I ready!!

21 lbs in 30 weeks. No gain this week (well, I gained then lost a lb within a day from swelling management).

I told myself after I changed my ticker to reflect my weight gain that I was done weighing...well I couldn't stay off my scale and now I really wish I would have!!! I'm starting to swell (even though I drink WAY more water than recommend) I think that's a lot of it...I'm up 5 lbs in 2 days! Ahh..

40 weeks and two days and I'm up 45 lbs..so much for keeping the gain under 40lbs

But (look at the bright side) you know you didn't really gain 5 pounds in two days. That's just not possible. I would totally not count those 5 pounds. Although (also on the bright side) if you do, it'll be an even bigger jump on the ticker after you have the baby! :-)

I totally agree with this^! The swelling will disappear within a few days (by the weekend it should be gone), and because of this quick water weight gain you should see a sizeable difference on the scale!

I'll agree with everyone and say that its water weight. Unless you are some 21 500 + (that's a lot of Big Macs) calories in the past 48 hours, its pretty unlikely that you truly gained 5 pounds ;)
