I am trying to add friends on my goodreads account (to get free books, it says the more active you are and the more friends you have the better your chances) but when I go to the Friends section all I get is the option to add people from my face book friends or my email contacts. How do I enter somebody not from either of them? BTW I am doing this from my Ipad so is it different if I do it from the desktop?0

Ooh me too me too! I have the app and usually am pretty good about logging as I finish books and what I thought of them! Love to see what other people are reading and whether something is worth my time or not!0

I have found Goodreads to be extremely useful. I log all the books I have read or want to read and give some opinions. When I can't remember what a book was about or if I read it, it is great to be able to get all the info I need. Also helps when others are asking for book recommendations. Love it.0
