Hi! My name is Monica. I'm 23 years old, married to an amazing man and have two children, Christian and Adalyn. I started my weight loss journey in August at 226 lbs, by November I was down to 191, and took December off (got a little wild went right back to my binging ways ) and today Im back at 198. A pound a week would be awesome, getting me to 146 at least by next new years. I'm ready!!!0

I am in!! This is exactly what I need. 1 lb. a week seems like not much, but over time will add up. Slow and steady!

Howdy! I am Michy from Texas.
Happy New Year!!! Here's to a great 2013 with lots of goals being met. 52 pounds is very close to what I need to make my weight loss goal. 2013 is the year to do! My husband and I would like to start a family in 2014, which means I have one year to get my life and health on track so we can raise a healthy family.
Good Luck to Everyone!!0 -

Hi, I'm Kristy. I'm 33 and a stay at home mom to two children - a 3 1/2 year old boy, and a 9 month old girl. I'm excited about losing 52 pounds in 52 weeks! I just signed up to MFP, so I don't have any "friends" on here... I'm not even sure how to add them, so please add me! Thanks!0

Hi! My name is Stacey. I am 42 years old and am a happily married mom of two boys. Caden is 12 and Corey is 8. I rejoined weight watchers about a month ago for the 5th time. I am pleased with my progress so far, but I am frustrated with the Weight Watchers etools and I am trying to be tolerant of the personalities in my weekly meetings (this is always my downfall). I am excited to have one more source of support....I need all I can get :happy:0

Looking forward to this goal I have set for 2013 and can't wait to see it all the way through.0

Good Evening...My name is Melissa (Mell) and I am a busy bee. I am currently going to school to get my Bachelors in Education (would love to teach Middle School English someday), subbing in two local school districts, teaching Sunday School, and trying to balance being a mother and wife in there somewhere...oh...and if I can fit it in keep the house going as well. Honestly, I love my busy life.
Over the years I have tried to lose weight and even been successful, but all that success seems to fly out the window when you are right back where you started. :frown: I am not quite at my heaviest but it is very close and I promised myself I would never go back there. I have a strong faith and am looking forward to this journey not only of weight loss and health improvement, but also growing closer to my God. I can't wait to enjoy what He has planned for me this year.
Best wishes to everyone.

I would like to get down to 135 lbs by end of year so I've got over 40 lbs to lose. My goal is to go to the gym regularly, eat healthy & lose 1 lb a week. Looking forward to this challenge!!!!0 -
Hey everyone!
I don't get a chance to come on here as often as I would like but will check in when I can..
Unless I was getting into water and doing a volume test, I don't know for sure what I weigh! every scale I step on tells me different.. home scale tells me 229. Doc scale tells me 220.. gym scale tells me 225-230.. vet scale tells me 223! Ahh.. I do take pics before and during.. and also measurements. I'll have to rely on those more than scales!0 -
Hi, I found the MFP on my phone and down loaded the app and really like how it is so easy to keep track of what I eat and do. About a week ago I decided it is time to find the skinny me again. I need to loose abut 50-60 lbs and learn how to reach my goal.0

I'm excited to get started!0 -

So, I've recently re-committed to losing weight. But this time I refuse to go for the quick fix. I plan to lose 1 lb a week until I reach my goal. Anything above that is just gravy. I am committed to making this a true lifestyle change and I will be down 20 lbs by new years. My goal is to lose 70 lbs to get to my ultimate goal. But I am taking my time and letting the weight come off the same way it came on...slowly. Thanks for starting this group. And allowing late-comers, like myself join in.0
