Well done you and everybody else on this journey :) am actually looking forward to tomorrow and 8 sets as the first 7 are lower reps (and if I tell myself that enough times I may even believe it lol).

    Week5 Day2 Col2

18/18/20/20/14/14/16/30 (150) The Max rep only met Col 1's minimum so will move down to col1 for Day3 I think.

Interestingly in the previous day I totaled 153 pushups so it would appear less sets and more reps is easier?

It's interesting to me how it progresses. I think the adding of the extra sets is to help with endurance building. Col 1 is way lower than the other columns for Week 5, IMHO.

    Speaking of....Week 3, Day 2 complete. Following the Week 5, Col 1, Day 2 plan: 10/10/13/13/10/10/9/27 (max) = 102 total.
  • argh!!! I forgot to do my pushups! will do tomorrow.

    Hello Hello,
I'm a little out of sync because of the time I took out being sick but today I did week three, day 2: 20/25/15/15/max - 30
Phew! It was pretty tough! 30 is the most that I have done at the end of a session so pretty pleased with that, yay!

    Well done you!

Week 3 Day 3 Col 1 following the week 5 plan. 13,13,15,15,12,12,10, 33 max (Tot = 123). Not overly happy with dropping to col1 for day 3 and still maxed out at 33. Another exhaustion test Sun/Mon and that will tell me if I need to do week 5 again or move on to Week 6 (46 minimum pushups to start it).

    Enjoy peeps :)

    Congrats to everyone! Progress!

Week 3, Day 3 - yay, made it another week.

    Following Week 5, Col 1, Day 3: 13/13/15/15/12/12/10/31 (max). Total = 121.

Tomorrow is my exhaustion test. I have a feeling I'll be repeating Week 5. Hope to get into Col 2, though.

Just completed the end of week 5 exhaustion test and now think doing it after a 5 mile jog wasn't my wisest ever decision lol.

46 max which puts me in either Col 1 of week 6 (just) or Col3 if I repeat week 5 - shall have a think in my day off tomorrow.

    First day of week 4!

    Week 4/Day 1: 12/14/11/10/16

Barely squeezed the last one off...serves me right for doing an Insanity workout immediately before (that was not well planned).

    Started week 3 again today.

    W3/D1: 10/12/7/7/18
  • This looks like such fun :D pushups are my favourite because I can do them in my room when I remember to exercise, instead of rushing to the pool and having to get changed. What a pain. Will start officially tomorrow!

Have not done exhaustion test. Was out of town all day Sunday, plus training for a 5K....tonight's training for that wiped me out (final week of a couch-to-5k program - 30 min run).

I'm going to go ahead and repeat Week 5, Col 1 starting tomorrow. I feel sure my exhaustion test would've kept me in that column or barely Col 2. With this week's cardio so difficult, I don't want to kill myself on push ups, too. Col 1 should be a good enough challenge (it sure was last week!).

    ^^this

And yes, at the start this was treated as an auxiliary exercise but now it's getting serious and more rest is required before/after.

Week 6, Day 1, Col 1. 25/30/20/15/40 (130). The last 5 of the final set literally had me on my knees but preferred that to not finishing the minimum maximum (how's that for an oxymoron!). I can see me spending quite a few weeks on week 6.

Week 2 Day 1: Definitely getting a bit easier... but that final set was difficult... for sure felt the days of rest in between week 1 and 2. But yay! so far so good.
Max Done: 10 in final set
