    Hello everyone! This is my first day joining myfitnesspal and I want to really jump in! I am not super overweight for my height and build however do not feel comfortable with my current weight. My husband and I are wanting to have children in the near future and I would like to be thinner and in much better shape than I am now. I just went off of some medication I was taking and gained about 10 lbs. so I really want to get that off at the bare minimum but ideally would like to lose around 30 lbs. I would love to have someone to go through this with! Support is so important in this goal! :)

    I've also been using MFP really intermittently and after getting into moving to Asia where all my friends and my boyfriend are extremely lazy I have become too complacent so starting to gear up and take things more seriously! Currently in the second month of Insanity workout programme as well if anyone either wants a weight loss or Insanity buddy or both!

    Back to my pre-pregnancy weight but VERY unhappy with the shape of my body. I'm working out and watching what I eat now more than ever and can't seem to get back to where I used to be. I refuse to believe this is my new normal. I've been running the last 6 months, and am just about to finish up my first course of Insanity, and I see no improvment. Thinking of trying weight training next (Chalean Extreme?).

    Hello,

    New member here, joined only yesterday.

    Age: 36 (almost 37)

    HW: 125 (after baby #2)

    I have been able to keep a steady weight of 118 for years but something happened with my metabolism in the last few months and I ended up gaining 4 extra pounds that are extremely difficult to shed! Anyway, I decided to do something about it and here I am. I am doing a brisk (4.0) uphill (3.0-7.0) walking on the treadmill 5 times a week for 40 minutes followed by Power Yoga. (Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown DVD to be exact.) I am hoping to see some positive changes soon! :smile:

    P.S. I will keep looking for my twin...

    More Importantly - Lose about 10 - 15" all over by building lean muscle

    Highest Weight was 216 when I was pregnant - Highest weight not pregnant was 185. I have came down quite a bit but need to tone up and lose those last few pounds.
