hi! I started day 1 of Insanity yesterdsay (may 19). This is my third or fourth time starting insanity but i've never gotten past day three due to soreness and a busy schedule. I'm in better shape this time around though and came here for some extra motivation to stick with it!

Best of luck! You can do it! :)

Hello everyone. I am new to the group and new to insanity. I have completed 6 days, and have dropped 9 pounds. I coach basketball, volleyball, and softball at the high school level, and live a very active lifestyle. I am loving insanity so far, but it is killer on the ole knees.

Hi! My husband and I started Insanity yesterday (May 27) and completed day 2 this morning. This is our first time doing it. Sore but looking forward to change. We are doing the meal plan as well. If anyone is also in their first week, feel free to add me as a friend so we can battle through it together!

I completed Insanity one year ago, it was really tough but I was so proud of myself and I couldn;t believe the fantastic results. Since completing I have continued to do the workouts but only three times a week. I tend to stick to the first four week programs as I found the final four week really tough. My favourite workouts are Pure Cardio, Core Cardio & Balance and Plyo. I plan to repeat the full program again this year. If you are thinking of starting Insanity but feel a little nervous, I would suggest trying a few different workouts from week 1. This will help you get used to the moves and the fast pace. I found that once my head was in the right place I was ready, and once I had completed it I had never been so proud of my accomplishment. Good luck to all those willing to give it a go, do your best and keep going or should I say, dig deep! For the record I am a 44 year old mum of two - anything is possible once you put your mind to it!

In week 7 of my insanity. Started at about 190 pounds, my weight hasn't moved at all. I've put in my all in these workouts. I feel better and think I look better. Really starting to struggle with sticking through this till the end, with no movement in body fat% either I don't quite understand why I am no seeing the results I want. I will do my best to finish these final two weeks out, and then probably go back to a more standard gym routine when Insanity is finished.

Hi there…fairly new to Insanity. I completed day 4 today (incl Fit Test) and am on to my first Pure Cardio work-out tomorrow. Did a preview so I know what to expect…and geez, does it look Insane!! Where in the heck are the water breaks? BA-nanas is right.

Glad that I've had some training with Jillian and Chalean prior, as I scored pretty well on the Fit Test and have yet to suffer from DOMS. Workouts are definitely a challenge so I'm excited to see progress and increase my endurance!

Goals are to tone and decrease BF%, so here's to digging deep!!!

    Feel free to add me!
  • Started on 7/1. I am also walking 2 miles/day. Insanity is hard! This is my third time starting. This is my first time finishing 1st week. Looking forward to resting tomorrow.

    Hello all!

I started Insanity on Saturday, 7/6. It is crazy, but I feel so much better after a good, hard workout. I took my measurements and hoping to see some awesome results when I'm done. If it's that good, I may do it again

Insanity is the *kitten*. I originally bought it for my husband in 2009. He's been doing Insanity off and on since then, while I sat back and watched him strain, sweat and yell. I thought he was "insane" but results were amazing. He's an outrageously fit man, but Insanity brought it to another level. He still works out in the gym, does CrossFit and other programs but he always returns to Insanity for the intense, high impact exercises. I recently joined him in March 2013 and I've never felt better! Starting off with such a crazy program makes everything else feel like cake! I can 2 miles non-stop now; I can keep up with other exercise routines and programs confidently. Insanity is a huge challenge, so it really makes everything else seem not as bad. I keep comparing it and repeating it because it's honestly that true. Insanity is BANANAS but I love it. I love Shaun T. for bringing the insane inside my home.

Hi everyone - I am onto my 2nd week of insanity. I'm down 2 inches in both my waist and hips, and down 2.5 lbs. One thing: I'm worried that I haven't been sore at all lately? I'm not complaining but perhaps I should be pushing myself more or maybe my body just recoups well?

    Hi all!

I'm in the middle of my recovery week. I'm lovin this program. It's tough and pushes me. I've previously been a Chalene Johnson fan (still am) but have a new love for Shaun T. They are different instructors and both have their reasons for being awesome.

    Heya all,

Just completed Day 2 (not incl fit test) - and it's true to its word... it is insane! :D But the good type of insane. Looking forward to tomorrows workout. :)
  • Hi everybody, I am on my rest day of week 1. My god does my body hate me. However, I have lost about 15 pounds in the past two weeks and I feel so much better throughout the day (besides the obvious muscle soreness). I could use some more MFP buddies if anyone is interested.

Looking forward to getting my butt kicked by Insanity.

I was surprised by the fit test too! I finished Insanity in July, and am now doing T25. I plan to do Insanity a 2nd time, or do "Asylum", after completing T25. Keep with it! it is an awesome workout that actually works!
  • Hey there! This is round 1 of Insanity for me and I'm just starting week 2. I'm excited to see my results at the end of the program!

Hi everyone. My name is Mary. I am 31 years old, married, and have 3 children. I started Insanity yesterday. I have already done today's workout. So far it is not as bad as I prepared myself for. Don't get me wrong... it is tough and I hurt, esp. my legs. Oh gosh, my legs. LoL. :D Can't wait to get more into this. Even if it gets more painful. I need to get this baby belly gone!
  • Pure cardio for me today.... My one hamstring is feeling a little tender.... Does anyone have an additional stretching programme that they use?
  • Hi!!! My name is Ana and I will be starting the program on Monday! :)
Does anyone want to join me and start on Monday as well?

Just a quick note to introduce myself.

Am 32 and due to start Insanity Programme next Monday planing on doing fit test on Saturday. I am hoping to slim into my size 8 jeans by New Year.

I am a 34 year old mom of 2 boys ages 9 and 5. I just completed Insanity last week and began Insanity Asylum this week. I had pretty good success with Insanity and now looking to improve even more with Asylum. Asylum takes Insanity to a whole other level! It's tough, but I do love it!!
