Front trigger shifter decided to die on me today, but at over 40,000 miles in 3 years it has done well. The downside was the mech wanted to be in the granny gears, which are far too slow for the ride home. A quick bodge job repair of sticks forcing it over onto the middle ring got me home fine.
Another trip to the bike shop - it has been there so much recently I am going to let it cycle the 9 miles on its own, it knows the way!
DCMAT - That was pretty clever. I don't think I would have thought of that. I would have just called for a ride. I can relate to the bike shop thing though. When they call you by name when you go in the store, you know you've been there a lot. :laugh:0 -

Dave - we should have had the napping challenge during winter break...they are seriously frowning on it at work!
Chris
Hope everyone is staying warm enough wherever you are and managing to find a way to get your miles in safely!! :flowerforyou:
