30 day shred

i am on day 2 of the shred.. thought if any were doing it we could support each other while Jill shreds us into shape.

I'm on day 15 in level 2. I do it about every other day along with Bodypump and Bodycombat at my gym. Have definitely stalled on weight loss--up and down the same 3 pounds. But losing inches in my arms, waist, hips, and most in my thighs! Doing it tonight and my biggest challenge is I always think my body wants to give out but it's really all in my head. Those plank jacks are killer! Anyone feel free to add me!0

Did day 1 of Level 1 yesterday, and I'm sore today!
Going to keep at it though. Im looking forward to being fitter and stronger. It's a great DVD.0 -

Need advice..
Someone told me that I should mix up the levels.. Do level one then next day level 2 next day level 3 and keep changing them. Said that way same muscles are not being used Daily and won't get bored,,, they said for the higher level that you can do the easier exercise with one of the girls..

I joined the "Biggest Loser" contest at my church, lost five pounds in one week last week, but this week I have slacked. I can tell I haven't exercised like I should, yesterday I attempted to do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, level 1, I phoned it in after 15 mins. Today, I went to the workout room at my church, walked on the treadmill, and was huffin' and puffin' at 7 minutes!!! What is wrong with me!!! I only did 10 mins. on it, but then I did some strength training, ab crunches and stretching. I'm happy to be a part of this group here. I really need someone to call me every morning and get me moving....lol. 870-224-4908. I am 42 years old, 5'10, at a horrible 282 presently - started contest at 284, dropped down to 279 on Sunday, weighed myself today and I've gained 3 lbs. already this week! Get with it, I tell myself!! Someone told me to eat 1400 cals a day, so starting yesterday I am faithfully counting my cals. I'm not making anymore excuses, sore heel or not, I'm getting this weight off!!! I am supposed to be a bridesmaid in my sisters wedding in Florida in May, I want to lose at least 50, if not 60 lbs. My friend Amber is a good support, but she's not checking on me like I wish she would. The biggest loser contest weighs in every 2 weeks, almost at the end of the first week, I can do this. Contest ends March 30th, it's a 12 week challenge. Amber says we should shoot for me being 250 by then. I hope so.0

My understanding is you do 10 days Level 1, 10 days Level 2, then 10 days Level 3.
You may be in better shape than I am... all I know is Level 1 is kicking my butt, I plan on doing the full 10 days on it before I go Level 2. As it is, I have to modify a few things on Level 1... I HOPE by the end of 10 days I can do it with no modifications!!0 -

Is that a cell phone?? I'll text you daily!! Where are you? (time zone) I work out in the evenings, it just seems to work better for me lately. I used to work out in the mornings but lately I just don't want to get out of bed earlier. Maybe that will change when it warms up a little...0 -
Tara: I'm not doing the 30 day shred. I do the Last Chance Workout and its program instead. BUT if that is a cell phone I can send texts. I'd need a timezone so I am not sending you a text when it is like 3 AM for you, unless you're wanting to work out at 3 AM. I can also send you messages on here on a regular basis if you'd prefer. I am willing to do what I can to support you and help you on your journey.0

I;m doing to Ripped in 30 which I've been told that its about the same as 30 Day shred. I'm on week 2 day 2, I have however been doing different workouts by Jillian on YouTube I wanted something longer than 20 mins. If I can gone I'd love to0

I know! I was so sore, it was really hard to get through it last night but I made myself do it. I'm really glad I did, I"m not as sore this morning as I was yesterday morning.0 -

Thanks, no I'm not in good shape at all, level one kicks my butt. So I think I will take your advice and do 10 days, I think that is a great idea. I restarts yesterday with it. I skipped a few days "life got in the way". So it's starting over for me. And this time nothing can get in the way. I have to manage my time wisely..

When I first started on level one I had to modify most of the moves, now that I'm on level two I can feel myself getting stronger and don't need to modify many of the moves anymore. Sometimes I still do if I'm tired.0
