Hi there-
I'm just finding this support group and I love the idea of naming the binge. Starting today, it's Sz against Tb. I won't really know who wins until today is over...but i guess I can log from yesterday.

A little bit shakey today. I have felt the urge - lightly - all day and managed not to binge so I'm still counting it as my victory.
They often give out trial food samples at the supermarket which in my pre MFP days (ie 10 days ago) I would help myself to several helpings - something to munch on as I walked around the supermarket. I haven't had any in the last week, but today I did have some. The portions they give out are tiny, and it was within my day's calories so that's ok, but I did it because I couldn't control the urge - not because I decided to allow myself to have it. Still I didn't go back for more so I beat TB. *victory to me*.0 -
I've been reading the posts here and feel like this is a fit for me. I can be ok for days at a time and then one bit of something can have me in a binge tailspin. I like this challenge. And the knowing that I am not alone. I sure feel that way sometimes.

I came soooo close last night to blowing it. Daughter brought home something from her work. I managed to have just a little of it and throw the rest out. It took (what felt like to me) a heroic feat of will power. I even looked up the calories and tried to convince myself it would be ok to have it all.

Thanks for feeling my pain willlift4tats. I had the whole "letting food go to waste", "she brought it as a gift", "the cals aren't that bad" stuff all going on. But, I threw it out. Win!0

just joining and can only remember since the weekend. Started doing better then - so since then it's:

I have resisted stopping and grabbing foods out this week due to hunger, but instead have eaten foods I had at home and restrained my portion sizes. This is great for me after not being on track for the last several months!0
