Well I am down one lb from the start of this which I am happy about, but I did not have a good week last week. I didn't track at all and had a lot going on health wise and attending a funeral. I'm technically up .3 from last Tuesday which is my normal weigh in, but I'm just going to keep on trying. Good luck to everyone.

I know there are different schools of thought in regards to weighing yourself, some say do it once a week, others say daily, for me it has always been daily, I have never been so glad of this as I was last week, I had seen myself go from my Sunday weigh in of 15st 11lb (221lb) to 16st 5lb (229lbs) in the space of 3 days, this was purely down to water retention and I was so glad to spot this and was able to correct this by drinking a lot of extra water (infused with lemon slices) and managed still achieve a loss of 1lb for the week come the following Sunday, and now as we speak I know I'm right on course for another good week as a result of this. The bottom line is there will always be fluctuations due to fluids but if you stick to your calorie deficit it will all work out all right. I too weigh myself everyday...multiple times actually. Every morning, mid day, and before bed. Sometimes more. Its probably not healthy but thats how i keep myself accountable. I notice the fluxuations and now understand my body more. I aslo add lemon slices to water or unsweetened tea. So far this week im down 3 lbs according to this mornings weight. That tells me im on the right track this week. I know due to normal fluxations it may change but its still really encouraging!!

It's been a good week- I'm slowly starting to build up muscles in my arms, legs, and core and can fit into a smaller pair of jeans that I couldn't wear all winter because they were too tight. Baby steps, right? I'm excited to see everyone else's progress this week.0 -
