Still within the acceptable pregnancy weight gain goal with only 15 weeks to go and 2 weeks left of second trimester I can't believe how fast the second trimester went compared to the dragging on of the first!
It is definetly getting harder and harder to sleep and move around as easy, but overally feel good just extremely tired from lack of sleep!0 -

Just joined the group today, although I've been lurking since May when I got my BFP, lol!
I turned 16 weeks on Sunday, and I've gained 2/2.2 lbs total, although it definitely fluctuates between the two numbers alot.
I have a regular OB appointment tomorrow, so I'm kind of anxious to see what their scale says, even though I know It'll count any food/drink I've put away before my appointment. I'm actually very please with how much I've gained. I've spent all of the past year losing 58 lbs, and I don't want to gain a huge amount of weight back. I've been logging my food and eating around 1900-2100 calories, which I think has helped alot. With my 5 year old daughter, I pretty much ate with abandon. I was probably around 178 lbs when I got pregnant with her, and I ended delivery at 204 lbs. The weight did come off to about 185 lbs, but I completely let myself go and ended up at 211 lbs before I started doing something about it last year. So now I weigh less that I have, probably even in high school, and I'm planning to lose more after baby is born. But I'm in no way restricting myself like I was before. But yeah, so far so good! I was actually expecting more gain than what I have, so I feel like I'm sitting pretty right now for the rest of the 2nd trimester and 3 trimester gains.0 -

Had my appt, and the OB said my weight was doing fine. She wasn't concerned at all, said I was doing really well and not to worry about it much since I was still under my starting weight. Already looking forward to having this baby and starting to work the weight off! I'm tired of feeling fat and bloated...0 -
33 weeks today and up 39lbs! I had hit 30lbs gained at 23 weeks and thought the 2nd trimester would be brutal, so I'm very glad to have only gained 9lbs in the last 10 weeks!!! I usually gain 45lbs total, so I seem to be on track to gain somewhere around that if I keep gaining about a pound a week. I haven't been exercising like I thought I would be, but I am eating well and drinking plenty of water. Hopefully I can make some time to get in a daily swim at least for the next month or two! Can't believe I only have 7 or 8 weeks left!!!0

Hi Ladies! Glad to meet all of you. I'm pregnant with my first and thought I'd dip my toe in here.
I'm 13 wks 5 days today and so far I've gained ~2 lbs, I think. I'm not very good at tracking it and I feel like my weight fluctuates a fair amount, but right in there. 5'9", started at 147 lbs, now up to 149.2 as of this morning. I'll be interested to see how my weight tracks for the next 6 months.
I ran my first marathon at 4 weeks pregnant (right before I found out--ha!) but haven't been doing much exercise other than hiking/walking since then, partly because of recovering from the run and partly because of being so darn tired during the first trimester. I'm about to head into quite an active time for work, when I usually gain a few pounds of muscle, so hopefully that will be good for the baby.0 -

Don't freak out too much about 2 lbs in 1 week. Around 23 weeks, it sounds like it may just be a growth spurt. Around my LO's growth spurts I gained anywhere from 2-4 lbs in a week, but then stayed the same for a couple weeks afterwards. Just make sure to keep drinking lots of water, and go easy on the sweets, sodium and such. :flowerforyou: But it sounds like you're doing just fine!0 -
Finally getting some weight on. 150lbs pre-pregnancy, lost 5lbs due to morning sickness...........back to 149lbs now at just shy of 21 weeks. Those 4lbs came back rather quickly though so I think I'm starting to get some gains. Baby is doing good0

My starting weight was 113lb at 5'4 height.
My weight gain has remained pretty consistent in the later portion of my 3rd tri:
28 weeks: 128
30 weeks: 129
32 weeks: 128
34 weeks: 130
36 weeks: 129.6
37w/2d: 129.6
38w/1d: 132
39w: 131.4
So as of now, weight gain of approximately 18.4lbs! Doctor's are happy with weight gain, although the hubs thinks I should be gaining more. Annoying! As of my last ultrasound at 37weeks, the baby weighed right around 6lb. 3oz. So she should end up being a healthy 7lb. baby when she arrives.0 -

March 26 - 8 weeks, 2 days: appointment with primary doctor to confirm pregnancy, weight = 123.0
April 14 - 11 weeks: 1st routine OB appointment, weight = 123.8
April 19 - 11 weeks, 4 days: 1st ultrasound, weight = 121.0 (she didn't use the same digital scale this time so I don't buy this weight...)
May 19 - 16 weeks: 2nd routine appointment, weight = 124.7
June 16 - 20 weeks: 2nd ultrasound, weight = 128 (home scale, right before appt, read 126.6)
June 23 - 21 weeks: 131 (Yikes, a 3 pound gain!! baby girl must have had a growth spurt this week!!)
July 14 - 24 weeks: 3rd routine appointment, weight = 132.1 (home scale, right before appt, read 131.4)
July 30 - 26 weeks, 2 days: 133.2, home scale
August 4 - 27 weeks: 137.2, home scale - after calorie intake was done for the day. 5 pounds in 3 weeks seems reasonable but 4 of it was in the last week.
August 11 - 28 weeks: routine appointment, weight = 136.4. 4.3 pound gain since last routine appointment.

Technically I guess I am 40w and 2 days but who is counting?! :ohwell: Going in today for my nonstress test and whatnot since I am passed the due date, baby hasn't dropped, no contractions and still not dilated at all. Not worried though, baby is just too comfy! They are looking at setting an induction date for 41w and 1 day though so less than a week! I can't believe how fast time has flown by.
Was originally looking at staying under a 20 pound gain but it's looking like it will be around 25 by the end. I feel pretty good with that though since it is still healthy for my height and starting weight...and seeing as how I haven't really worked out in months! I can't wait to start kicking butt at workouts again though :drinker:0 -

I can't believe I'm at 30 weeks already! If I can manage to stay under 240 for the next 10 or so weeks, I would be ecstatic! I doubt it, though... I had my son at 37+5, maybe if this little one comes early too... :laugh:
I haven't been able to do much exercising. My lower left side of my back is just in serious pain. Not sure if baby is sitting on a nerve? I have a support belt, and it seems to help... but I can't walk very far anymore before having to stop. Anyone else have similar issues?0 -

I have two boys and I gained 36 with the first and 29 with the second. I really hope its a girl this time and that I stay under 30 like last time0

20weeks 87.3 (+5.3) bummed about this need to keep it steady for a few weeks.
28 weeks 89.8 (+7.8) I had actually gone up to 92-94 because I was eating terribly and not working out consistently. Since eating better and working out consistently I've dropped that extra weight. Wasn't actually trying to I was just trying to keep my weight steady for a while. Hope it hasn't hurt bub, it shouldn't have because I've still been eating plenty never hungry just healthier.0 -

awww I hear ya. Its gonna be challenging but so rewarding watching them grow/play together. I'm on my 3rd pregnancy as well. Just found out i'm having a girl and super exciting. my oldest is a girl and then I have an 18month old boy. My son will be barely 2 when this one is born. i'm hoping for under 35lb weight gain since I'm already at 14lbs @20wks. oh well lol0 -

It's been an interesting 2 weeks with weight. I thought maybe baby had hit a growth spurt. A few days ago I was even up to 159.4 lbs, but I guess it was all water retention, because it's coming way back down. I'm kind of amazed, actually, that it's still a 2.2 lbs gain. I'm not complaining though!0 -

My beautiful little boy, Oliver, was born Saturday evening at 7lb 2oz so at least he was a healthy size! He ended up in the NICU until Sunday night because of breathing complications due to low fluid levels but he is going home with me today. Now time for everything to change.
It's going to feel good when I can finally start exercising again. And see those numbers go back to normal (though the belly will look nowhere near the same with all of these marks!!) :grumble:0 -
