    Height 5'4
    Weight at 36 weeks 168

My goal was to not gain anymore then 10 lbs but it looks like I'll end up being 15 lbs more at the end of my pregnancy. Hoping this baby is also 38 weeks like my first born.

1500-2000 calories per day. Super clean diet with the rare exception of dining out.
I hardly gained weight in the beginning.
Starting 127-130 (I fluctuate a lot so I use 130 as my starting weight mostly)
    From what I remember:
    25 weeks 142 lbs
    37 weeks 162 lbs
My goal was to only gain 30 lbs, so I am trying really hard to maintain the weight that I am at. Fortunately I feel like the baby is going to come very soon. She is putting an immense amount of pressure on my pelvis. I've also had major prodromal labor and she has descended. The only thing keeping her from coming is that she hasn't turned to face forward or back. Wish me luck!

Thursday is my weekly WI day & I'm down a pound! That makes for a 5lb gain coming up n 30 weeks!!! I haven't been this weight since mid July. I know I can start gaining weight anytime now but this makes me super happy. I've been hoping to gain 15 or less.

I'd like to keep track as I recently just found out I'm pregnant with #2. I started my weightloss journey in May and lost 23lbs!!
My first pregnancy I gained 1lb total. I am starting this pregnancy 10lbs less than my first.

    BFP @ 4w

    4w : 204.6
    5w : 204.6 (0)

I ended up with GD with my first and I am hoping that I won't this time around. I plan to stick with my eating plan throughout this pregnancy that I have been following that past 4 months.

Congrats to the new babies and to the other momma's that have been doing so well!!!!

Ha! It would certainly seem that way! Scarily, the major chocolate consumption is probably still to come: We move in less than 2 weeks, approximately 2 weeks from Baby's due date. Stress much? ;)

After more strategic consumption yesterday (as opposed to whatever food made it to my mouth willy-nilly), I am glad to report 2 lbs. less bloat this morning -- I weighed in at a more reasonable 135.0 lbs. Must. keep. going.

    Cheers Jaylas_Mom21!

MommyShortLegs - moving two weeks before your due date is a sure way to put yourself into labour! Just you be careful, it's all too easy to think I'll just move this box or chair or bed. You go take yourself shopping that day and let hubby do all the work!

    Stats:
    23 yrs old, 5 foot 2, 125 lbs pre-pregnancy, at 22 weeks 140.6 lbs.

As I have said before, weight gain during pregnancy is a mystery to me. This month I gained about 4 lbs (double the amount i wanted to gain) yet my measurements like my bust, waist, under navel, and hips have stayed the same. Where those 4 lbs went to, i have no clue cuz i cant see them anywhere except on my scale. Could some of it be muscle, water, baby...? I hope next month the scale will be in my favor since i am 22 weeks and up about 15 lbs. I only want to gain 10 more in the next 18 weeks. Any insight?

All you can do is eat right and stay active. If you're doing that, absent starving yourself, what is going to stop your body from gaining what it wants to? I know it's super frustrating and if you go back through my posts I throw up my hands sometimes and just go...what the HECK?! But everyone gains different amounts at different rates. It is entirely possible yours will slow down a lot the third trimester. You may only gain 10lbs - but if your body feels like it needs more weight it's going to gain it. Mentally it isn't easy to accept, I know. It really really isn't.

One thing I do know is that women on the GD diet tend to stop gaining, and while you're too early to know if you're GD or not I've heard that most women can actually benefit from that particular way of eating (it is not calorie restrictive and that may throw you at first).

Finally...It's worth talking to your doctor if you feel your weight gain is unhealthy. In my opinion you're doing fine and some women just gain more while pregnant (which sucks, I know, but weight gain while pregnant is only controllable to a certain extent - if you are overeating and binging you're going to gain more, but if you're not...?). I had wanted to gain no more than 20 this pregnancy and well...I hit that almost 3 weeks ago. So I do get the mental aspect being very challenging.

OMG - I am have gained soooo much weight already. I shouldn't be surprised. My last 3 pregnancies I had the same rapid weight gain - but I started at a much lower weight the last 3 times.... I have been feeling very nauseous and have been carb overloading to try to settle my stomach - so lots of toast, muffins, cookies, etc. NOT GOOD.

I am 12 weeks and determined to start the 2nd trimester in a healthier way.

Let's see if this works. The red line is single day data, the grey dots are average weight for that week.
