    - just a little one; 30 minutes pool laps breastroke and front crawl. Not really counting but kept going for the full 30.

2.5 km at 58 min ( just 5 seconds short of 57 min).
These changes in technique seem to be having an effect, but boy is my core taking a beating!

AQ - rotation makes a BIG difference, just pay attention to the shoulders because you're putting a lot more torque on them.....

    Great job, as always, everybody!!!!

    Made it in today - 250 free, 500 free, 1000 free, 5 x 200 I.M., 200 free, 3 x 200 I.M., 2 x 100 I.M., 1000 free, 500 free, 250 free in 97 minutes....

First half way decent swim in about a month ... I've been ill (relapse) and just gently getting back into it. Didn't quite make my target 1km, but did 900m in 38 mins. - not surprisingly slower than usual.

( I should be pleased, but if I am honest I am a bit fed up about the relapse...)

Good to see lots of good swimming comment on Mfp, am enjoying reading it all and getting my mojo back!

Have been attending a technique/squad class with my daughter. Got the thumbs up, great technique sign from the coach. Feels great to finally feel free in the water (freestyle and fly :-))

I was swimming 60 laps/3kms but was finding the time it was taking was interfering in my daily life (2 hours go to woe - to the pool, swimming, out of the pool home) and had started to avoid going.
    - Made up my mind to drop the number down to 40 laps and this is working well. It seems easy and quick in comparison. So the longer swim has worked for me in retrospect.
    - Mind games I have to play with myself, boy.
