Go on! Post your OMAD meal! Include the daily meal and the beverage, and if you care to, the calorie count.

4 grapes, a large pinch of raisins, 1 sliced Gala apple, 2 cans of sardines with jalapenos (and oil!), some raw cashews, rice with 4 chopped and ground-in cayenne peppers from the garden, broccoli (chopped), and field peas. 1,612 calories if I am estimating correctly.

Beverage: 1 cup merlot wine (130 cal).

I don't use a cell phone so I can't post. I had homemade chicken vegetable soup, a baked potato with broccoli and cheese. Around 1,000 calories

Sounds great. To snag another 150 calories, try a wheat bread honey sandwich with that.

I see how you're adding that sandwich in to bring up the calories like you explained to me. I'm doing that tonight. My menu is posted for the day if you want to look at it. I don't have anyway to post a photo but you can read what I'm eating.

Yes, and honey is nature's perfect treat! It always affects me differently than any sugary item I might consume in that I remain feeling good after I eat it.

It's bulking up time, and as such, I prepared--with today's meal containing: 6 tamales from Del Rio tamale factory, homemade fried chicken strips, rice, gravy, garden peas, bhut jolokia sauce, chips, kisses, 3 eggs with bacon, and 1/4 bag of Brach's choc-covered peanut clusters (about 230 calories). Have no idea the full calories, but it should be around 3,500-ish, I think.

    Hi,

I certainly will add more. I think it's kind of fun to snap picks of the foods I eat. Have no real idea why outside of perhaps motivating others.

Teriaky rice with roasted maple glazed carrots and a sautee of leftover Delmonico steak and onions. I also ate an apple toaster strudel and had a small glass of pink lemonade. Stuffed at the moment!

Nice, xMermaid! That's a "party in your mouth" lookin' plate!

Teriaky is one of my "go nuts!" gustatory pleasures.

Last night's meal: New York strip steak in the cast iron, baked potato which was like a little potato and cheese boat of yummies, and dessert. This is what happens when my husband makes dinner. ;)n4cdodg41291.jpg

Tonight's meal: roasted turkey, sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet peas, cranberry sauce, everything smothered in yummy gravy. I shared this with my 1 year old and had slice of my made from scratch apple pie with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. Thanksgiving came early to us this year as we wanted to celebrate it with my stepson. Husband cooked everything.

Is there ANYTHING on planet earth with the same exact appeal as mashed potatoes smothered under gravy? I think not!

Roasted turkey, sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, squash, gravy, cranberry sauce and apples and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. Am I doing it right?

    Hey thanks!

Tonight's meal: steak, bacon, sautee of onions and orange peppers, pickled jalapeno & cheese sammie with salad of lettuce, cherry tomatoes red and yellow, cucumber and Italian dressing. A big tall glass of water with that and a small bowl of fresh berries and cream for dessert. Feeling satisfied and happy. It is amazing how this way of eating curbs your appetite.

Tonight: Cayenne and onion rice, flavored with buillion, vanilla ice cream, grapes, and an apple. Plus, steak fingers and some sausage with BBQ and ketchup. Wasn't the fanciest, but hey, it hit the spot.

Tortilla (well buttered), beans, and chili. Sometimes, the simpler meals are the best!
