What a great group! I am nearly 41 and need to GET RID OF 30 pounds. I don't want to lose weight. Lost things get found. I miss my electric blue suit. Can't believe how fast I outgrew it.0

Hey, looks like some of you are just like me, early 40s female who wants to lose 30 lbs or so by July.
Back on mfp after quite a while... Can I not add friends without giving mfp access to my address book? Can't quite figure that out, feel free to friend me.0 -

Good morning everyone - NSV comfortably fit into a pair of pants yesterday that were too tight when I bought them last April also my dear husband has suggested we go to the gym 2 evenings a week to reduce our mindless night time eating.....YEAH!!!!
Today I will plan 4 meals for the week, plan my exercise and prepare mentally for my weigh in tomorrow. Have an amazing day everyone and plan/prepare for success.

Hi Mary, I made a dozen of these this weekend. They are low cal and freeze up really nice. Pop 'em in the toaster oven or microwave and volia! Instant breakfast for folks on the go.
Here is the recipe link... scroll way down to the bottom for calorie info.
I've seen a dozen ways this can be made, bacon, sausage, prosciutto, low cal cheeses, or a tiny dollop of cream cheese. mushrooms, hash browns, onions peppers, tomatoes etc. Its great because you can modify it to what you like. You can keep it simple country or make it ultra chez gourmet.

Anybody else have any good "make ahead and freeze" Breakfast or lunch recipes. Please share them with us. I really need some lunch ideas myself. How 'bout ya'll?

Turning 45 and just realized I have been wanting (but obviously not trying) to lose 30 lbs for over 10 years now! I'm a smart person and it is time to begin taking myself seriously. I know it will help me to enjoy my life to get out of this rut. I deserve to be happy in my body, I just need to start to believe it.0

I'm turning 45 in a little over a month. I've been struggling just to lose any weight instead of gaining. I lost 10lbs before the Holidays and have been struggling to get back on track since then. I need support & motivation and lots of it because everyday I just seem like I'm going backwards instead of forward.
I could use friends who want to motivate and support!!!0 -
I just started phentermine to drop 30-40 pounds
It's working great
Lost 6 in the past 3 days
Appetite is barely there0 -
Is that healthy, @sxcbut? I mean, that's great, but it really isn't sustainable as you are not developing healthy habits, not to mention the nutritional deficiencies your body will experience.0

Hi. I am "new" here as I signed up for mfp a few years ago and never posted for more than a day.
Anyways I have 25-30lbs I need to lose. After my youngest daughter was born almost five years ago I lost all the baby weight and I was 125. Then year by year Ive added 10-12 lbs and now I am up to 156. I barely recognize myself when I look in the mirror.0 -
Zorks. I have to agree with you on the phentermine. I tried it about 6 years ago. it is not sustainable. It also raised my blood pressure.0

Me too! I got about 35-40 lbs to lose and not find it again...but i am so out of shape! I feel like I'm dying and can't catch my breath so i just give up. I hate exercise but i gotta lose this weight and be happy again.0

YES! I am sick and tired to. I am also 46 and only have 30lbs it seems like it would be easy to do it's only 30 but it has been the hardest 30 to get off. lol I am with you on this. I am currently doing T25 focus and eating better just started past Monday. will friend you

I am 43 and started with MFP at the end of November with (at least) 30 lbs to lose. So far I have lost 17 1/2 pounds and counting! Would love to be on the journey with people who have similar goals and are committed to logging everyday day and sharing their diary, so please friend me if this is what you are doing or plan to do this and want to be friends:)0

Exercise is the worst when you're just starting out and everything is hard. If you can soldier through a few weeks of it though, you'll start to feel a lot better - promise

Best thing I ever did was buy leslie sansones walk off the pounds dvds . Slow going and you actually walk miles in your living room. A huge game changer in my journey to help myself0 -
I walk on the treadmill every day Sophiasmomma but it gets so boring. I even switch the routines on it but i just do it anyway cuz something is better than nothing i guess.0
