Congrats on your marathon Dennis!! I couldn't help but enjoy how perfect your monthly stats are for the 26.2 you just ran! haha sorry, nerd moment!
I didnt catch that but yes, it is appropriate It was a tough course, lots of hills, but I really loved that race. Finished on the 50 yard line of Neyland Stadium.

my only secret right now is to not say no to myself. I've recently discovered I am much like a 5 year old child, and if I tell myself I can't have something, I rebel and eat as much of it as possible! So right now, no foods are off limits, I try to stick to 1-2 servings, and if I still want more, I tell myself the food will still be there tomorrow! I may be going over my calorie goal a bit, but I'll take this over bingeing any day!
What do you do about trigger foods? are those fair game too?

Yes, they are fair game as well. It's extremely hard at first, which is why I had some slip ups before this miraculous streak. But I find that, once I get used to it, I can enjoy my trigger foods in moderation. I do better with eating trigger foods rather then saying to myself, "no you absolutely can't have that", because then I just want it more!0 -

I've found the same thing. When I brought trigger foods back into my life, I binged less because I always knew it was there and available to me as opposed to telling myself no and going out of control once I ended up having said food item.0 -

Thanks for the advice you guys! I bought a sort of "medium level" trigger food at the store today because it looked really really good...and managed to have one serving today. Usually I eat the whole container in one go! I literally remember thinking last time I had some in the house "I'd better not eat any, because then I'll HAVE to eat all of it"

I'm so grateful to have found this group. I've struggled with BED for over 25 years.
