I love 50's lengths, too! Unlike most women today, a tea length is the most flattering on me. I looked terrible in an above the knee dress when I had a 23.5" waist. Just not built for it. I look strange.

I think tea length is a nice length -- one you don't see much of anymore. I agree about the above the knee looks too. That and I always am nervous about bending over in an above the knee dress. For me, the perfect length is an inch or two below the knee.

I had to Google Tea Length dresses. lol I can't remember the last time I wore a dress...besides Halloween. xD I have THICK knees, so this kind of dress would look pretty on me.

Right??? My thighs right above my knees are bigger than my knees.

    Updating...

    Neck:13.5 in - 13.5 - 13.5
    Arm: 12 in - 12 - 12
    Waist: 31.5 in - 31 - 30!
    Hip: 40 in - 39.5 - 39!
    Belly: 35.5in - 34 - 33!
    Thigh: 24.5 in - 23.5 - 23.5
    Calf: 14.5 in - 14.5 - 14!

Sooo that means I'm down 9 Weight Watchers inches!!!

    And my waist/hip ratio was:

33/40=.825, which put me in the "moderate risk group" before I started MFP
    31.5/40=.79, down to low risk!
    30/39=.77, getting curvier!!!

    38"-30"-39"....cloooose!

Can you explain how they do their math? I'm so confused.

Well done on all the losses.

You add up every inch you lose--so I get double for thighs and calves. LOL. It's kinda silly, but Curves does the same thing. Never participated in either one, so I'm not use how I know this, buuuut.....

AHHHH.... yes.. you have 2 legs therefore you lose double...... wow.... almost seems gimmicky so people can say they've lost more inches and make it more impressive. I've never been in WW or Curves so maybe it makes more sense how they justify it :|

IT'S WORKING!!! 3.6 POUNDS LOST, AND 3 INCHES ALREADY, and I'm only on day 13!!!ioop92kb5k53.jpg

Mind you, I'm doing a little extra cardio each day after the Shred if I can. Dancing, mostly, for between 30 minutes or more. Or at least some power walking.

Okay. I redid my measurements with a good measuring tape. I'm going to use these as my starting measurements (because I'm rebooting my 30DS), though I may swap up to level 2 tomorrow because level 1 was mostly easy, even doing the "advanced" side of things.

Well, I got 3 days into level 3 and stopped. My lifts have gotten progressively worse since I started doing 30DS. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not eating enough for the extra activity or if adding the 30DS to my routine wasn't allowing my body enough time to adequately recover. It's been almost a week since I last did it and today I noticed my lifts improving again, so I'm going to stop while I try to figure out what exactly the cause was (lots of data to review).
However, I will share the changes that took place in the 20 days that I did the dvd.

    kdxsvbkkzy00.jpg

    So inches lost:
    Neck - 0.25"
    Bust - 1"
    Underbust - 2"
    Waist - 0.5"
    Hips - 1"
    R Thigh - 0.5"
    L Thigh - 0.5"
    R Calf - 0.5"
    Total: 6.25"

    Weight change:
4.4 lbs (if I go by this mornings weight)
5.4 lbs (if I go by my recent low on wed morning)

Belly and back! I can totally see it!

30DS take more out of you than you think. That's why I'm doing it once every 3 days.

OMG!! I lied. It wasn't 20 days. Dang it. I mislabeled the 3rd week in my calendar. I have 3 day 15's, 1 day 13, and 3 Day 16's in week 3.

Okay, okay. It was 27 days (did dvd 17x during that time frame).

Ya. It looks like I only took 3 actual rest days as well. I was doing the dvd 2 days, rest 1 day. That however didn't line up nicely with my normal routine; leaving me 3 actual rest days out of 27 days.

Looks like I didn't plan this very well. 3 rest days and my average intake is the same as it was before I started it. No wonder my main routine was negatively impacted.

I forgot to measure half-way through. For now, I'll just wait until day 30 and compare it to day 1. Less complicated. You guys all look terrific! The Shred does wonders on the belly.

I measured after lv1 and id actually gained 1.1 lb and my chest and waist increased too. Around my belly button and hips decreased a little. Didn't bother to measure arms and legs. I'm not overly surprised, I usually gain a little before dropping. 3 days of lv 2 done. I think it's going better already. Freshly washed pants aren't as tight as usual fresh out of dryer.
If I lose inches and not lbs then I'm ok with that. I just don't want to be a size 14 anymore.

That's what happened to me BOTH first times I did the Shred. I gained about a pound of muscle, swelled up, THEN dropped in inches, and finally, a couple pounds. lol BUT this workout gets me in SHAPE, which is what I love about it.
