Bike/ run last night with my girls bike group- 17.47 miles on the bike followed by a 1 mile run (9:47).

Woke up early this morning so went to my national park for a run. 3.13 mi in 33:25. This is my slowest time on that route since I started using Strava to track runs. I blame the heat and humidity along with some tired legs!

Super slow 5 miles this morning. Asthma plus three rest days equals slow going. Long run of 7 miles hopefully on Wednesday.

Well this is the week I get my *kitten* back in gear. Being off for a month from my knee caused me to slack off and the motivation to run dropped or finding excuses not to run. I'm 11-12 weeks out from the September 1/2, if I plan on doing it I start training this week.

5.03km in 27:47. Little speed work, well speed work for me LOL. Tomorrow due to Canada Day 8-), i'm going for a nice 10k run. Slower pace for endurance rather than speed.

Well only did 7k 42min today as I felt a "twitch" in the knee and don't want to push it.

Good job on keeping at it, FireStorm! I'm not running much at all as I'm a cycling maniac lately! I plan a run later today, though!

Didn't run last night, but did this morning. I think the humidity must have been about 2000%.

    3.12 mi in 30:10

7.8k in 46:33. No knee pain. I think I find if i don't take time to properly stretch including foam rolling my legs before my runs, my knee starts acting up

10.26km in 1:03:17. Went out at 12pm, of course hottest part of the day LOL. Drank way too much water on the run and was 'Sloshing" around in my stomach LOL. Felt good though to sweat LOL

I did a local 10k race in 62 minutes yesterday, need to back on track to increase my mileage, as it is 10 weeks until my next half!

@FireStorm1972 I can't seem to find the right balance of hydration/ fueling for runs in the heat.

@GreatCthulhu 10 weeks is good amount of time to get ready for a half. I need to look at races so I'm actually training for something, otherwise I don't run as much as I should.

I woke up an hour before the alarm this morning, so went to the National Park for a run. 5 mi in 50:23. It was very nice, not too hot yet.

Well plan was to run 15km today but no go 8-(. woke up and couldn't bend right leg, sore knee, not the ITBS problem though. The humidity here is bad and is probably an arthritis thing. My old body isn't liking it LOL. maybe a 5k run later tonight if my leg heals today.

I registered for a 5k early next month, hoping that will motivate me to run more. It is so hot here right now, I'm having trouble making myself get out to run!

Well I'm on my last day of holidays :'( but it was nice in Niagara Falls. I ran 3 times while down there all at a faster pace than normal. i think it was a total on 18-19km over the 3 runs. Was gonna do a long run today as my schedule calls for it but I think I'll do a 5km later this evening when it's not so hot and enjoy my last few hours of my holiday. I go to Niagara Falls every year and would recommend it to everyone, I never get tired of the view, my 8am run along the Falls when there were no tourists out, just some fellow runners, was very relaxing.
