We have all cheated at some point. Thank you for sharing. Lately I have been having a hard time resisting the urge to snack at night. I think as long as we can acknowledge we are doing this, we should be able to get back on track.
I hope you will be surprised and have a fantastic weight loss this month.0 -

Thanks for sharing. Smart to get your school work done...lots of times those storms knock out the power and that changes our plans for the day.
Once in Ohio in the deepest part of winter, I had no power for 8 days. My kids and three dogs (different dogs) closed ourselves in one room and cuddled together under a couple down comforters...it was cozy and fun. Lots of story telling. Our big adventures were to go to the restroom...because it was freezing in there. We were LUCKY no pipes froze. We cleaned out the pantry too. Lots of interesting food combinations.0 -

You know, even though it probably wasn't fun, that's definitely a memory you and your kids can share0 -

But...I understand the frustration of lost work. Sorry about that.0 -
That has to be very frustrating. Sorry about that. Sounds like external HD is glitchy.0

Hi
I would suggest not writing to the drive and trying out Recuva. You find it on this page
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/recuva/
I would also suggest that http://www.bleepingcomputer.com is a excellent free tech support site that might also be able to help out. I have used the website and Recuva too and it worked for meBleepingComputer Review:
Recuva is a file recovery program that can search a hard drive or a particular folder for deleted files and attempt to restore them. When using Recuva you can specify the types of files that you wish to recover and either scan a particular hard drive or a particular folder. If a file is able to be restored, Recuva will list them and allow you to restore them.
Note: This download is for the portable version, but has the same functionality as the one you install. Piriform started bundling toolbars in their installation products, so we switched to hosting the portable version.
Recuva has the following features:
• Undelete files on your computer
• Recovery from damaged or formatted disks
• Recover deleted emails
• Recover deleted iPod music
• Restore unsaved Word documents
• Quick-Start Wizard
• Deep Scan
• Securely delete files you want to erase forever
• Portable version
• Full Windows OS support and many languages
Good Luck
