    @Spikesmom: Incredible that you survived! Someone was surely watching over you. It is apparent that you are meant to be around for awhile. I am so glad you survived and that you are making progress every single day. As you said, it truly puts life in a new perspective.

    @spikesmom Woah, that is just unbelievable! So glad you are still here with us!

    @bluiz13 congrats on your C25K progress!! That is wonderful! I'm a huge fan, I completed that just about 2 years ago! And I still think of how hard it was but how it showed me I *could* do it! Great work!!

    Tonight ran 3 miles. Ankle was a tiny bit angry, so I'll rest it tomorrow.

    Adding another 11 miles for 48 out of 150. I'm not sure where I got off. I put in another 12 miles which would have been 49 miles, but my Strava counter says 48 so 48 it is.

    We are having the strangest weather in NZ. Coming into summer and past 4 days have been exceedingly hot - I was stupid running - that hot and tonight it is so cold I have had to get out my winter running gear for tomorrow morning! Go figure!
    Anyway - I am so glad to be running again - hope my fitness builds up again - quickly!

    @spikesmom - so glad your guardian angel was with you. I have a friend who survived a similar crash and I know it's a long road back. Day by day. Step by step. We are here to cheer you on!

    As for me, I had a beach walk and then a bike ride yesterday. Adding 7 miles.

    Yearly Walking Goal update: 1035/1500 miles

    10/01 - 6 miles walked + weight lifting
    10/02 - 10/05: 16 miles walked + weight lifting + yoga
    10/06: 6 miles walked + yoga
    10/07 - 5 miles walked + weight lifting

    33/125 miles

    The last few days have been doozies, but since the last time I logged in and reported, I added 3 miles of walking. My MTD is now 18.4. Hoping to get a bunch more on the bike tomorrow... maybe take a walk at lunch time today. We'll see.
