Please note that team participation is mandatory at least twice a week. If you don't feel like participating on here, eventually everyone will be less involved. Team Challenges are only successful if you work as a team and be there to support each other.

Weigh-in will be open all week, so that you weigh-in as per your weekly schedule and will be closed on Sunday Night (PST), so that I can compile results on Mondays every week.

    Blue has always been my lucky color.

    I am gonna start posting with my details.

    Struggling Areas (night snacking/lack of motivation/ junk food etc): One bad day ruins it all for me

    Goal for the week: 1 lb loss and 5000 steps daily
    Goal for the challenge (35 days): around 5 lbs
    First Day Side Challenge >> Post your starting measurements: I don't like to post my inches body parts wise, so I am summing it up. 316.5 inches. Let's see how many I lose at the end of this challenge.

    i weigh 273
    my exercise is walking
    favorite healthy food is raw veggys and dip of low cal salad dressing
    my struggle is night snack salty foods
    do i want to be team motivator,sure i will be on this site at least once a day i promise you that but i will not likely be the biggest loser
    goal 1 pound per week and exercise 1000 cal use 5 times per week, walk at least 10000 steps a day likely more
    goal is 5 pounds

    I am from New England
    I weigh 248
    My favorite exercise is walking
    My favorite healthy food is fruit
    My biggest struggle is that I like to eat constantly. (and it is not the healthy stuff)
    Probably not the best motivator, but please add me as a friend.
    My goal is at least 2 pounds per week and any exercise will be an improvement. 4 walks a week, hopefully
    My goal is to lose 13 pounds.

    My favorite healthy food is lean red meat. Go steak!
    Probably not a great motivator but I do "like" a lot.

    About me....

    My name is Kim, feel free to call me Kim, Kimmy, Kimber.
    I live in Ontario, Canada, which is Eastern Standard time.
    Didn't have a weigh in day, so going forward it will be Sunday.
    Favorite exercise: I love weight training. Just getting back into it after a 19 year hiatus.
    Favourite healthy food: hard to answer. I'm a foodie. Food is my favourite. LOL. Steel cut oats is a comfort food. Love egg white omelettes.
    Struggling Areas (night snacking/lack of motivation/ junk food etc): health issues/ chronic pain can really put a damper on my motivation to exercise and eat healthily.
    Do you want to be the team motivator? (Yes/No): not this time.
    Goal for the week: to exercise on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and accurately track my nutrition while adhering to my caloric intake goals.
    Goal for the challenge (35 days): to lose 10 lbs.

    hi blue not all of us have posted yet but i noticed a few of us are from canada . where exactly are you from i am from muskoka the heart of cottage country about a 2 to 3 hour drive from toronto ontario . looks like we have some large people and some close to their goal we can do it . go blue.

    looks like night snacking is a bad area for most of us . i go on here and do my up dates then to stay away from the fridge any other ways to avoid

    BTW Nora, although I am in NL, I am an Aussie, so looking like with our Canadian team mates we are diversifying this team beyond usa borders. Nice.

    I think the trick here will be consistency and dedication. Starting strong but finishing stronger. I am in another pre christmas challenge (no competition ) and the number of people giving up the moment the scale gets cranky is surprising. Weight fluctuation is normal so let's cheer each other on, and bring us all across the 6 weeks, together.

    Too right you are. This challenge is more about being healthy than about losing weight.

    Together we can do this. Set ourselves on the paths of healthy eating and exercising habits.

    My steps and water intake was great. I did okay with veggies. But dint do well with my focused macro.

    so you guys planning of logging challenges daily or weekly in the challenge logger?
