@GaleHawkins, I should have remembered that one! Too late for me, lol! Word to the wise: if you decide to consume alcohol after being in ketosis for a few months, stay away from mfp, lol! Plus, know that it usually takes much less alcohol that it did pre keto! Nuff said!

Mine is a reminder that the choice is mine, in everything, and not to leave things up to chance. I have this tattood on my arm as a daily reminder.

Thanks for the heads up but that is one food source I never developed a need for over the years thankfully. I have enough trouble walking a straight line without alcohol. :)

I to have fun reading some of the names and trying to figure them out.

Sorry, I meant about myself, and my experiences with alcohol and posting here! Lol, not you at all @GaleHawkins! Please forgive the misunderstanding!

I enjoy learning the meaning behind the names too!

I have an outside job In Texas. Many years ago it was in the full blown heat of summer and we had a very slim chance of rain. I did a 10 minute rain dance and it rained. So my coworkers called me raindancer from then on. Never worked again...lol

Hey you made a good point. There is nothing to forgive. All my uncles suffered from alcohol abuse on my dad's side and he stopped drinking at the age of 16 being a baby brother to most of his brothers. I was never around alcohol until after high school and being a teetotaler by then saved me I guess from that danger. Hey I figured out other ways to abuse carbs however. :(

Mine is an homage to my grandmother. I inherited my excellent palate from her. Unfortunately I didn't inherit her green thumb, but I learned about fresh food and what good food tastes like from all the food she cooked from her garden. It's mostly her fault that I pursued my hobby of cooking. I pestered the teachers at the cooking school I used to work at for help in growing as a chef. And I took as many classes as I could fit around my work schedule. The name came about because her daughters called her "Mama" and "Rose" was her first name. "1900" was the year she was born.

Guess where I was when I first set up my mfp account? I had no clue that funky names without your real name in were an option. If I did, mine would have been cappuccino or GnT. Now I am on a diet with no coffee, no alcohol and no sugar, probably good mine is just first name and where I was, India.

just picked this name because it was all I could think of!! At that moment it was to change from my whole name to something anonymous and boring. That pic was from awhile ago and I thought it was funny cuz I needed a lot of help to get going. Shall change eventually when I figure out how to change all that stuff. I can hardly find this thread. But will also eventually figure it out. Just recent retired and so much to do and so little time to do it, as they say.
Looking after myself finally, is the priority right now.
Working out so far. Love to treadmill and watch netflix. one show 58 min.

Lilith is a biblical character, who was Adam's first wife, made out of dirt like Adam. The story goes she refused to bow to Adam per God's command, and instead pretty much walked out. She ended up the Queen of Hell, mother to all kinds of demons. I thought it was a nifty story. I added an extra "l" because people were asking me if I was a big fan of the Lilith Fair (not). 32 is my favorite number. Also, I was about 15 when I picked out that particular handle... it's been with me for a long time.

Biblical??? I don't think so, lol.

Edit. Sorry, I guess I was wrong (not about the story, but about the word - I only read in English - but apparently it's Hebrew.) Learn something new every day.

Mine really silly - it is from a great holiday my partner and I had in Mississippi. We visited Chattanooga and Vicksburg (war sites). In gas stations , convenience shops, diners people would call us "Bubba". Sure it was friendly term - 1922 is the year of birth of my lovely father ( now deceased).

College football being my favorite sport. Visit as many stadiums as I can just to be a spectator. I don't have to even have a favorite team. I used to tell people: Give me the two worst college football teams on the coldest day with the worst seats in the house, and I will still go...

I was afraid of the toads which were abundant when I lived in Texas; they jumped everywhere I tried to walk. My ex-husband gave me the name.
