Dear Stomach, you're bored, not hungry - SO SHUT UP!!

Down 0.6 this morning. I'll take it.

Got my walking done and the recumbent bike done! DH is watching football in my exercise room. I might go in the computer room later and swing the kettlebell at some computer monitors!!

    Later, my friends!

Do not kill the computer monitors! Nice job Chris. B)

Eating was better today. I did have a pot pie for lunch today. But they are 350 calories and one is all I need. :p

Mmmm, pot pie sounds yummers. Bought olives and roasted red bell peppers to make meatloaf tonight. Wonderful snack food, but sometimes too tempting to eat more. I have to remember small portions, eat slow and savor.

Hmm, well I hate the scale. Maybe it needs a new battery! :s I was up a pound! I must be serious today. Though I am being consistent with my workouts! So still happy. As Paula says, savor, smaller portions. Yep yep yep!

    CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL LOSERS!!

Computer monitors are safe and sound as kettlebells never moved from their spots on the floor.

I'm joining Shelley's team...I hate my scale!! The darn thing can't make up it's mind...up .6....down .6...up .6...ugh! Not the best way to start my week esp since I was expecting the dumb thing to register down...anything...but down! BUT NO!!! Up .6!
    Okay, I'm done!

Walked w/Bean this morning (5.89 total miles for 11,449 steps). DH had docs appt. Then I got on the bike for 12.25 miles in 45 mins and an episode of Castle then I went to 1st grade...now I'm gonna read! :o

Have a great Tuesday my friends!

Why did we have to stay at a hotel with a happy hour with free drinks from 5:30-7:30. And did I mention snacks as well. Suffice it to say my fellow travelers and I indulged.

I was able to get in 10,427 steps for 4.02 miles.

    Good night.

    Kathy.

Good job on the steps! This is going to be a bad month Kathy if we do not pull it together. Happy Hour and my chocolate hour adds up to a negative! Ok, it is a new day tomorrow. Let's start again and not fall in face first! I know you all had fun!:wink:

Well...today, I'm not going to tell you what the scale did this morning...she says weeping and wiping her nose on the sleeve of her PJs. Just know that I love you all for being here!!

Oh Kathy, that sounds wicked but fun!

Chris, you can borrow my pajama sleeve  - one of mine snuck back too. I think Clara gave me hers.

I've been sticking to jerky for bfast and soup for lunch, and the reduction in carbs is really helping me cut back. Cravings (fingers crossed) are very diminished. Let's see if that nasty scale can get with the program. If not, Shelley, can you lock them up till they behave?

I would be happy to rid the world of all scales! So are you not worried about sodium with the jerky? Or is it lower than I thought? Personally I love eggs. But then I want biscuits or toast and jam....hmm, maybe not..........

I stayed within my calories today. Got in a good workout, but I am still hungry. Must be all the weight lifting.

Hy DH and I were cutting back on salt and then my cardiologist told me I needed more to help resolve low blood pressure. So now we have two of everything, salted and unsalted - how funny is that! And you're not wrong, it is really high.

Isn't it nice that it's okay to eat eggs again?

Chris, I hope your scale is behaving now!!!!!!!

Paula salt is so confusing. How much is to much? Not enough? To confusing. Glad you have it figured out. And yes, I love my eggs.

My scale was put into a holding cell. Darn thing said I was a pound up! But my stomach feels so much flatter. I am happy with the way I feel. Darn scale call rust!

My weigh in was ugly. I'm up 2.5 pounds this morning. I had two really hard days, but I'm better now. I think I was feeling sorry for myself for some reason. :p

DH has to cut his sodium too. I have to watch my sodium because it has this deal with my stomach and my scale. Eat it and everything puffs out and goes up! ugh! Shelley, I'm glad your scale got put in a holding cell...how long is it's term? :#

I hard boil eggs and have them handy just in case I'm hungry after a meal...good w/mustard! Stayed within my calorie allotment today. Got some biking in too. ;)

My scale hasn't moved in three day - which is much improved from its upward momentum. But I've been really on track and my clothes finally feel a titsch looser. Going through the store, it's "nope, can't have that, nope not that either, nope, nope, nope, must quit shopping for groceries in the drug store - too many snacks here!"

mustard and eggs, Chris, yes, yummmm.

My scale reads 201.6 this morning. I'll take it...considering the drinks and eating on the DC trip. Our final winter match is today...yeah. I really do need a small break. Tomorrow I plan to go to the grocery store and make meals for the week again.

Trying to make the 10 pounds off by April. Healthy eating and exercise!!! Whatever your goals we can do it! I need to have a good week?

    Have a great Saturday.

Paula...you are so right! A none-moving scale is better than an upward moving scale...man, I really dislike when that happens!!

Kathy...a downward moving scale it the best! Congratulations on that!

I am down 1.6 of my 2.5 gain. I'm hoping tomorrow shows me down again. I weigh more today than when I started this month!! :o Ya do dumb things...know you're doing dumb things...then kick yourself in the fanny days later for doing dumb things when you knew what those dumb things were going to make your dumb scale do! Dumb! :p

What Kathy said...Healthy eating and exercise!!!

Tomorrow is going to be great! Yes, it is!!

Today I almost opened a box of oatmeal. :noway: Keep it for meatloaf, not for snacking. Bad hands! Get back!! Then I thought, maybe a piece of toast. No no no! Made a turkey sandwich with the bread instead - that is okay.

It's funny how there are different levels of temptation.
    • Today was just seduction I had to watch out for.
    • It wasn't the awful fight when the tastebuds are screaming that life isn't worth living if they don't get a cookie.
    • The days where it's just a breeze - eat when you need don't think about it otherwise - those are the best.
How I react to the temptation leads me down one path or the other. Today was okay.

    Best to you all!

Chris, Stick a fork in it, it's done. It was scheduled to end today, but I added weeks because a couple people asked for them. I'll keep checking back just cuz I told Nicolla I'd help. But Terri's the only one I see doing anything.

Paula I hope the oatmeal is still in tact and still in the cupboard... :o Nice way to turn trouble into a turkey sandwich! ;)

Weighed in at 139 this morning. It's better than what I did on Friday! Hoping to be down more tomorrow. My eating has been right on today. I walked and biked. :p

Then I helped DH put a new locking mailbox out at the curb. We haven't had any trouble, but we see too much stolen mail on a trail we walk along. Ask me how much fun I had out in the cold with a bunch of bolts, screws and hammers!! The mailbox is big and looks silly next to our two neighbor's little mailboxes. Oh well... :D

Have a terrific Monday. It's a day off school!!

The oatmeal went in the meatloaf, Chris. Haven't weighed recently but the jeans still zip up.

    Good job, Paula!! yyuummm, meatloaf!

Down .6 this morning. I'll take it. Picking up Bean in a little while then out for our walk...unless it's raining hard...little raining doesn't bother us. We've been pretty lucky so far all the heavy raining has been at night!
