I'm currently on Day 20 of the 27 Day Squat Challenge. I'll pick up in here where I leave off (100 squats).
If starting at 50 or increases of 10 is too much for you, the 27 Day Squat Challenge starts at 10 squats and increases by 5, up to 100.0 -
I was used to doing 20 as part of my core sessions. 50 today was a breeze. 20,20 and 10 in between my other bits.0

Does anyone else only feel squats in their quadriceps? I would appreciate any tips to help target the glutes as well. Good luck everyone!!!!0 -

Please avoid burn out or leg jello by starting early n building up. No point in doing 2 days at 50 squats then walking around like a duck!
Trust me here, from one experiencex duck! start at a little more than where you feel like stopping then if the challenge adds 10 the next day, do that on top of your starting point not theirs. If 10 more is too much, again just do what you can.
If you start with 10 in good form that is safer for your body and you are more likely to stick with the challenge n be able to also do the amazing race etc. The idea is to challenge n have fun not bust ourselves.
Dont mean to lecture but I sincerely do not want anyone in our initial enthusiasm over doing it and getting hurt or very sore. Now going to waddle off to the gym.... quak quak quak
You made my day with the "experienced duck" . I'll start the challenge today and will try to make a habit - do 10 squats each time I go to the rest room.

I found a 30 day beginner squat challenge on-line. Starts at 20 and works up to 150. That's the one I am going to do. Day 1 complete.0
