Thanks, Moxie. You, too -- I've been impressed and encouraged that you didn't let one bad day get you down!1

Thanks! To be honest, it did get me down at first but I've been working really hard to let the negativity go and move on. It does not come natural to me at all and it's been my downfall for years, but I know if I don't change that, then the situation won't change either. This group helps a LOT, and the Success Boards- both remind me that a lot of people go through this, everyone has bad days, and that it IS possible to break that cycle and be successful.2 -
I know what you mean. I just read a story on the success boards that was positively humbling.1

The only thing I suggest to keep in mind that just because someone else has crazy-mad success, it does NOT make you a failure if you don't achieve the same... We are all individuals, and we all have our own wars to wage. Never judge yourself by someone else's measuring tool. (HUGS) Even the tiniest of successes when compared to someone else can be massive wins for you!!!2

Hi everyone. This is my first time on this thread- I have struggled with binge eating for at least ten years and it's been worse these last 2-3 years that I have been in medical school.
Anyway I love this community from what I have read so far and would love your support-

Hello and welcome, Kud100. I hope today was a good one for you.1

Welcome Kud100!
I relate to you as well, I have a long history of bingeing, worse over past couple years, and also in medical school.

But you posted it, Scorpio! That in itself is a victory. Now you can pick up and move on. Good luck today. Know that you are not alone.2

@Scorpio8402 - Nevadaden is totally right! It's hard to post a binge day. I can be tempting to think "If I don't admit it, I can pretend it didn't happen." Being part of this group, and simply posting and logging binge days is a huge and important step- you're already on your way!1 -

Last night could have turned into a binge, but I managed to keep it together. The progress I've made so far was my motivation to not let it happen. This is probably my longest time ever without a binge, thanks to this group!2 -

It's been a tough week for a lot of us it seems! But we're all still here and moving forward through the good days and the bad. Go us!1
