I'm aiming to eat/net around 1200-1500 per day and would love to have some friends with similar goals to keep me accountable.

Hey! I am also aiming for the same calorie intake, and also looking for someone to hold me accountable.

will add you both, my diary is open and i also need more accountability to get back on track3
-
I am! But I eat back my workout calories so it averages about 15000
-
I would probably die on 1200. 1500 net is typically about what I go for. (Very, very active though.)0
-
That's what I eat unless I have a carb day.0

Yes, I try to stick to 1200-1400 a day. I don't get hungry and I am maintaining my weight lost so far on about 1300 a day. I don't eat back calories I eat, or try not to. I am only 5'0, so any calories lost are pretty valuable3

Yep, I'm on 1200 net a day (and my diary is open, too). I find that so long as I make sure to get enough protein and fat it's satiating enough. It's easy to go over if I succumb to a tasty treat though!
I'm only 148cm so this amount has me losing pretty slowly... I'll probably be on 1200 for a while!3 -
I am on 1200-1500 calories as well. I am having anhard time dropping the waight though. I am 5feet 6 inches and waigh between 141-145 fluctuates. My normal waight was 125-130. Is anybody having the same issue. If so What did you do to start dropping the waight again.
Thank you for the feed back.4 -
Hey I'm on 1200 calories with an open diary. Add me x1
-
hi I'm just getting back on, so please add me I need encouragement! Also with a 1460 goal.0

me! I am on 1200, except on weekends. LOL, my diary is open too.
I am 45
5'2"
CW: 124
GW: 115-120
I was following a Low carb diet until i developed gastric ulcers (too acidic ), so now i am doing the old fashioned way, counting calories. I basically eat what I want, i just practice mindful eating and portion control.
I TRY to work out 3xweek - I do a Barre class and then if i cant get to the gym i do Piyo or Leslie Sansone video.1 -

I was on 1000 a day but recently I've been getting a lot of flack from people about not eating enough so trying out 1200 now. Even just thinking about the extra 200 calories makes me feel sick but I'm trying to get healthier! Have already increased my intake from 400 - 800. I did lose heaps of weight on that (nearly two stone in five days) but ended up binging on massive amounts of calories out of starvation after a few weeks. I really struggle with the restricting/binging/purging thing. Now at 141 pounds I'm not overweight but have gained about 30 pounds recently from my unhealthy habits and just want to try and focus on losing that weight again healthily. Sorry, went on a huge spiel there Basically, I really want to give/receive some support in being healthy, losing weight and sticking to 1200 calories a day. Not much more, but certainly not much less5

I'm in the same boat! I find it so hard to eat within my goal on days that I can't work out. Like today I have 6 hours of class straight and I can't work out and I'm soooo hungry! RIP. I've lost about 30 pounds since about February and I'm proud of myself for getting to 130. My goal is 110 at 5'2, so only 20 pounds to go!! I'd love to make new friends on here!! Please add me6

I feel great on 1200, but someone suggested I must be eating more than that if I feel great, so I should weigh my food. Something to think about.0

my goal is to weight 108lbs I started at 125 I'm now 1152

Weighing is super helpful but I don't think you have to feel bad on 1200 a day! a lot depends on how you eat as well as how many calories you burn in a day (if you are super super active or super tall or heavy it would be harder). I work out 5 days a week pretty intensely and eat 1200-1300 calories and I don't suffer (most of the time, hehe). (I'm 5'4, 118lbs).
Also hi! I'd love new friends that also eat in this calorie range.

I am in the same boat...I've only really started utilizing the MFP app recently, so I'm hoping this will help my accountability. I've not lost weight over the past year, just fluctuations. So now I'm dealing with nutrition side, since the workouts alone aren't getting me anywhere (I completely blew my weekends). 1200 a day is my goal, with daily exercise. Whatever I burn off by working out I will now consider bonus calories and not an excuse to eat more. Currently I'm at 140.8 but feel like 130 is my ideal weight. I'm focusing on trimming my waistline2

Hello all. Im eating on 1200 and doing fine with it. I go off of it every once in a while but have managed to get back on track. More a will power than anything else. Work out between 2-3 times week and find it helps keep me on track on what goes in my system. Losing the weight is nice but mainly interested in staying tone. Nice seeing the support here2

I'm right around there too, anyone can add me1

I'm also around 1200 a day. I work out 3x a week and log every meal - I really feel I'm finally making a tiny bit of progress now that I'm logging meals. Exercising on it's own seemed to be adding the pounds
I was at my heaviest ever 20 days ago when I started MFP: 147lb, am now just over 143lb. Yay! I used to be skinny (around 110 - 120lb) and never had any problems (except maybe getting too light) until having kids - with kid no. 1 in 2005 I went up to 130lb and with kid no. 2 in 2010 I went up to 147lb in the years until now. Hoping to go down to around 130 - 135lb as I think any less would be too optimistic and unrealistic as I'm not a teenager anymore! I'm 40 now. Feel free to add me, I don't have any friends on MFP yet and need some accountability
I think my pound numbers are correct - I'm used to kilos2 -
My story is very close to yours. My starting waight was 110-115. After my first baby I was 130lb. After the second baby 140lb. After my thired baby 145-147. I have been trying to get back to 130 for a while know. Resently I have changed my birth control method when everything I start was not helping me to stay down. I keep loosing and gaining the same 8pounds over and over. Add me as your friend and we can help each other.

I've set my tracker at 1200, but do eat some calories back when I exercise. I lift heavy weights 3x a week and then do some running and walking – maybe 2-3 sessions of 30 to 60 minutes right now. I currently weigh 122lbs, but was 114lbs in my profile photo, one week before a figure competition. I am 5'3" and age 49.
I am trying to clean up my diet and drop about 3-4lbs before Christmas to give myself some holiday buffer:) Will start in earnest in January to get back to competition weight and need to be leaner as I am competing at a higher level this time around.
My diary is open and I am happy to have new friends!8 -
My net calorie goal is 1200. Would love to have more friends with around the same goal. Adding everyone above.1

-
Trying to stay within the 1200. Today I was 6 calories over and did not drink enough water.0
-
I just joined this site last week and today was the first day I more or less stayed within 1200 (thanks to my exercise!). This is going to be so hard. I can easily eat 1200 in a single meal!0
-
Yes me! I need accountability as I've just realized that most of the past two months I've been going waaaayyy over!0
-
I need to jump back on the 1200 train! I was doing great and approaching my goal weight but then got into a relationship and, well, cue the happy relationship weight Would love to be held accountable. I workout twice a week: cardio and weights. Probably going to up it to three times soon. I don't want to eat back all calories burned, but don't mind going 200 over for workout days as long as it's healthy eating. I think some of my weight gain is muscle, at least, so I want to lose the fat covering it all up!1

Please include me. I'm focused on eating foods with a high nutrient density.1
