I've been MIA! So sorry, just been really busy lately. But I have been doing the rajio taiso videos every morning and am really enjoying them! My son thinks I'm weird but he should be used to that by now. I finally logged my exercise minutes for the week today and realized I had tooootally forgotten the squats...got some catching up to do. I slept in this morning instead of going for a run, so I'll do that on my lunch break in about an hour. It'll be warmer then, anyway--it's starting to get super chilly in the mornings around here (35 this morning, another reason I stayed in bed!) but I've got a race I'm training for early next year so I gotta push through it. It's hump day, everyone! Let's do this!4

This is my just under 400 calorie lunch. I really love salads but have to remember to clean teeth after. I am a cheese person. I eat this most ever day How much salad you ask?? here this might help

Anyone doing the level 10 rajio taiso with the back-bends on the chair? I was excited to find a shorter one this morning. I better go back to my level.0

@lynnbaum I did that one with my mom. I wanted her to see what it was like and she doesn't move to well. My husband has started trying the different videos with me every day also. Glad you are sticking with them even though you don't like them! I've got 65 squats done now so that shouldn't be a problem to finish by Sunday. I had also started logging my meals about a month ago so I'm doing well at that.3

Hi everyone. We are in last place today. Don't forget to add your minutes! Come on guys we can do this! I did stretching exercises today while watching the videos. What a beautiful place with vibrant beautiful colors. I enjoyed that 20 minutes of exercise:-)2

Three days of videos are done. I like the videos. I have 60 sumos done. I can really feel them. Even with all the candy, I have been under calories. I really need to stop eating that stuff. Made a cup of tea to see if that would help.3

This food tracking thing is changing the numbers on my scale. This is a good thing. I am feeling really good. I am really thinking before I eat.6

Today is my fourth day of doing the rajio taiso and so I thought maybe I should try the one that was labeled as a bit more challenging...oh dear, they totally got me on that one. No way I'm that flexible :P So I backed out and did one of the other ones again. I did 40 squats last night and 20 this morning, trying to catch up without dying. And I started a plank challenge with a Facebook group I'm in--that is HARD! Anybody else plank? Tips?
I'm toying with the idea of signing up for a half marathon that's on Thanksgiving. I'm already signed up for one in March, but I've done 10 miles as my long run the past three weeks and I really feel like I want to do one more race before it gets super cold. A 5K seems too short. Should I or shouldn't I?2 -
Okay, I just looked at the spreadsheet and we're falling behind, people! My competitive side is really rearing its head now. Hope that's not a problem. We've got a few that haven't logged anything so far this week--I'm looking at you, @Ellebee332 @Fitbug92 @plainanjelik @TaraDanielle40 @xxghost ! If anyone needs me to enter stuff for them, just send me a PM or even list it here and I will personally make sure it gets recorded. I'm on a desktop all day at work and it's much easier to edit via computer instead of phone. Come on, team four!!!5

HI all! Sorry I was MIA yesterday. I had forgotten to take my before bed supplements so I didn't sleep well the night before and it killed me. My body was SOOOO sore from restarting weight lifting that I just didn't move all day yesterday. I did move during the 5 minute video, & had hoped to do more, but it did not happen.
I was really wondering yesterday why I put myself through the torture of weight lifting. I was ready to throw in the towel & just keep to running or just take very leisurely walks...
I woke up this morning & was able to walk again, so I headed to the gym. I didn't have time to run, because I had to work this morning, but I am happy I went. I did 30 barbell sumo squats & 25 kettle bell sumo squats (with a swing). 90/140. I will finish it. I will do the stretching video between customers today & I will do store & parking lot walking today.
I will do my best to go for a walk after works,, since it is such a beautiful Fall day1

DO IT! 10 miles is the max I did before my first ever 1/2 marathon!!! what could happen anyways?? You've got this!3 -
Guys, this thread is making me proud! I'm loving the communication and determination to get stuff done for our team!!
However, @carinamenina is right!! We need to get our bootys out of last place! It doesn't help having so many people not logging all week, let's all encourage those not logging to get their numbers in!
And @carinamenina yes, do the thanksgiving run!! You'll be so glad you did
I took a break from squats yesterday because my quads and booty were just so dang sore. I'll get more done today, I'm feeling a little better but still feel it, that's for sure.
I'm loving the videos so much! My son did them with me today and he enjoyed them too!!
Today's his 6 birthday, I've already eaten a ton and I'll probably eat a ton more, plus cake haha so hopefully I'll stay under my goal, if not maybe I can squeeze in some extra exercise to make up for them tonight.5 -

To all. Might I say I hate the rajio taiso. I did it yesterday in our bedroom yesterday and didn't really do the jumping thing but this morning I noticed new cracks in our ceiling. I think our waterbed is to heavy. This saddens me. I would rather it be the fault of the rajio taiso. So I missed my two days. Do I have to do them in the morning? I am not a morning person. Also I would rather eat dirt then have to do 4 more days of this. I keep thinking I need to do this for the team and it is only 4 min long. I will do it if I don't have to do it in the morning. The only thing I do before coffee is pee and drink 8 oz of water.2

I didn't stop at the store this morning to get some salad greens so I had to think of something else for lunch. About the same amount of calories were the 2 apples and peanut butter 2T. I was not a wild woman. I need to get to the gym tonight. I am having a rough week. I have to help inlaws move this weekend. I am counting it as a workout. I will be a box mover

@lynnbaum Looking over the challenge it doesn't say the videos have to be done in the morning, only for 5 days. So just do them sometime during the day. I know I really appreciate you doing them. @niesjojo3 Thanks for pushing through them also! I really like them and will continue after the challenge. Now those squats are killing me, but I'll going to finish them for the team.4

Hi Team,
Well I have 4 days of those videos done. I thought they were really silly in the beginning but they are growing on me. I have 4 days under calories with lots of candy and so lots of exercise to stay under LOL. Those squats however...I can barely walk...but I will finish them
75 to go. Glad everyone is doing it for the team!!3 -
Videos - DONE! Yay 10 points! I may actually do them again every once in a while in the future...but not two a day. That music is getting a little annoying :P I still have some squats left to do but I'm breaking them up into 20 in the morning and 20 at night, so I should finish up tomorrow.
Oh, and I signed up for the half, thanks in large part to all your encouragement! T-20 days and I'll be in the middle of it! I also signed up for two other races at the same time, but they're not until next summer (a 10K and another half). Gotta stay motivated and give myself something to aim for as I do all this running, especially with the weather getting colder.

@carinamenina: Good job on signing up for the half. I agree that you have to do whatever you can to stay motivated to run when it is cold out!
I have been for a run this morning & I will be doing the videos soon. I won't be able to post those points until Sunday because I missed 2 days already. I plan to do 20 squats today & maybe a little yoga. My hamstrings are pretty tight & are in need of some good stretching.
I will stay under calories for the 5th day in a row today, so I will at least be able to log those points today. Squats should be done tomorrow. I have 50 left so I plan 20 today & 30 tomorrow.
Only 3 more days left of the week team. Let's work on getting lots of points2 -

Day 4 done. I got up and got it done. I am looking into a kettlebell workout on youtube
