Didn't make goal, but I am an optimist-I will do better at reaching my goals in 2017.
@clepant - I saved the equivalent dollar and cents for each of my miles/partial miles counted in this challenge in 2016, based on your post at the start of 2016. Thanks to your idea I have an extra $1647.77 (cashing in ALOT of change! I think in 2017, I will round up each day and see how much extra that gets me ☺)
That is awesome! Congratulations on your accomplishment! I may add my walking mile in with my run miles. It was a great way to pay myself for my fitness efforts and now I can use it for whatever I want. Will come in handy for race entries for the coming year, new gear or shoes which can be pretty costly. Could even cover hotel expenses for a distant race. The nice part is that it is for whatever I would like.0 -
Crazy month this month.... Didn't hit target...only managed 42.78 of 65 miles.0

Well, I've had a lot of successes, including some unexpected ones in 2016, but keeping my @$$ moving was not one of them. It's OK, 2017 is another chance to get it right.
Ended December with 41.5 miles.

Thank you Everyone in this challenge!!! Dave and Janet, I know it's a chore to keep us updated, thank you for finding the time to keep this all going. And everyone, I may have missed quite a few posts of my own, but know I still keep up and you do inspire me not to quit on myself. Thank you!
@clepant The jar idea is great. Some weeks I have trouble looking for the positive, and I think this will be a good way for me to shift that negative focus at least one day a week.0 -
