Ni Hao y’all
1. Name = Junodog or Chris
2. Exercise is my personal challenge; I am not very good at exercise. I am a regular walker (and hiker on vacation), but not a fan of sweating. As I get older (56 this year) I am trying to embrace the sweat, as I do feel good afterword. My favorites are swimming and rowing. I used to be able to use a weight circuit, and miss that.
3. I’m from Florida. Current address is Clermont Florida, but I am miles away from that town. I grew up in north Florida near Jacksonville. We lived in Key West when I was born, but the furthest south I remember is Cape Coral. I have seen real snow covered ground (like they get in Syracuse @katharmonicMember ) only twice in my life. Clermont is in the metro Orlando area.
4. I live on the north end of Lake Wales Ridge in central Florida. We are one hill over from the highest point of the ridge, Sugarloaf Mountain, which at 312 feet (95 meters) is also the highest point in peninsular Florida. The ridge is a unique ecosystem. It is hard as heck to grow things like vegetables, but the sand is prized for septic systems. (yeah I know weird fact)
We have a rural spread that houses me, my hubs, two older horses, a cat and a dog. We have regular Sandhill crane visitors, most are snowbirds but a couple pair live locally year round.
Here's one of my horses that snuck on our last vacation:

NI HAO!
Good Morning!
Yikes, I had no time for exercise yesterday so I'm starting early this morning to get a jump start. THIS is exactly what I need to get into the exercise habit. If you see me slacking, please nudge me (gently, I'm sensitive ). Two videos down so far and planning on the gym tonight after work. Woohoo!!5 -
Hi my name is Lisa
I get most of my exercise from Leslie Sansone walking dvds, but I love to take long walks outside. To be honest, after 18 months, exercise is not my favorite thing to do, but I do it anyway and I feel better for having done it.
I live in Hartland, New Brunswick, home of the Longest Covered Bridge in the World (1282 feet). It's a small town, the smallest in New Brunswick with just under 1000 people. We are just acrossed the border from Maine and just down the road from the french fry capital of the world.5 -
Morning team! So good to see everybody off to a big start. That team 5 is gonna push us hard again and grandmajackie on team 6 puts up insane minutes! My plan for the day is golf first, come home eat lunch, do the videos and some of the exercise tasks from my other two challenges. Should have a bunch of minutes. I ate an orange yesterday but I don't have any more so need to buy some at the grocery store tomorrow.
Have a great day!4 -
Just a little message
Don't forget to put your 10 points in the workout sheet when you introduce yourself than missionenforcer can check and let them count.
The points are very important in this challenge that's where we can make the difference

Good morning, team. Some snow arrived overnight, so this is more normal for us this time of year
Pics are from this morning's 40 minute walk with Stella. I also did videos 1 and 2 of the Xingshi in China Challenge. Love that subtle but contagious hip action in the second one Logged 50 minutes for today so far. I hope to get more but the day is going to be long.
Have a great day everyone! Go Team 1! We can do this together!

I've finished the videos during my planning period. I thought my dress pants were going to split during the slim-down video. That would be embarrassing, especially since I teach high school.4

Well I used our "ice" day off to do the videos. @hawkins410 a couple of them sure seemed a lot like "dance" videos to me! I'm glad I was able to get out and shovel before the snow turned to ice. And then eventually it turned to rain and I was able to get out for a good run! I can't put up any crazy high numbers as far as the "miles' go, but I do get the challenges done.4

Seems like we're off to a good start !! I'm halfway through the challenges, I need to eat one more orange tomorrow and then the videos will be done Friday!4

Did you check out the optional ones?? I did them this morning. @hawkins410 is the only one who could have come up with Chinese Zumba!!! And what about that werid "don't tell your girl friend she is ugly. ???? Reminded me of the early MTV videos when each artist tried to out do the next being as bizarre as possible. TEAM ONE that is one not to skip. I just did free style cardio. It has a marching beat. Thank goodness we are eating oranges and not apples for the challenge.3 -
Hey gang. I've got a little bad news. My FIL is very ill. We are having hospice take over care to see us through to the end. It won't be long. I won't be able to get some of the challenges done. And my exercise minutes will be low. I'll be spending a lot of time at the nursing home the next few days with my FIL and family. I'll get the orange challenge done and I did the first one. But not sure about the videos. I'll try my best but not making any promises. I'm getting minutes in by walking down a big hill and back up every time I need to get away and get some fresh air. So I am getting some minutes in. Not how I wanted to start the challenge but it is what it is.0

Hello Team #1! It is great to be back together and also have some new faces (and furbabies!). Welcome @smile_laughter, @ejdp254, @junodog, and @MimiOfTheLuciousLawn! I can tell you are already fitting in with our competitive, fun loving, and supportive group, with our awesome Captain @120maggie!
My name is Clarice, but I always seem to go by Hawkins, followed by a number. At work I am Hawkins#54, on MFP, I am hawkins410. Go figure.
My favorite form of exercise is Zumba (and no @ka97, that is not dancing in China! ). Although the “Optional” one does rather resemble Zumba. I suggest doing it; the song will get caught in your head all day! I was following a Zumba routine every morning as soon as I got up, but a bruised rib took me out for about 2 weeks. It was Tara’s fault! She shoved me out of bed so her Daddy could pet her more and I hit the bed frame on the way to the floor! I drowned my sorrows in ice cream and now I’m seriously overweight. Thank goodness for y’all making me do this race again! Now I am eating tangelos instead of ice cream and am back on my Zumba train!
I am from Laguna Niguel, Southern California. Our town-city is about half-way between Los Angeles and San Diego. I live about two miles from the beach (as the crow flies, not as traffic goes) and we have miles of hiking trails. Right now I am waiting for the sun to rise earlier so I can take Tara (the loveable brat) out on sunrise hikes before work again.
I have LOVED all your pictures! I can’t count how many times I have said “Awww” in the past 24 hours!
So here are some of my own:
BABY TARA AFTER HER FIRST WALK IN THE RAIN:
TWO YEARS LATER (SAME SHOE):
MORNING HIKES:
WHAT THE TRAILS WILL LOOK LIKE SOON (WE JUST GOT OODLES OF RAIN SO THE HILLS SHOULD FLOWER SOON!)
WILD THING!
SOMETIMES SHE CAN LOOK SO SWEET!
KEEP UP YOUR AWESOMENESS TEAM!
