This is when meal timing will likely become more important.
Dropping a snack to lose those calories, or chopping a couple meals sizes, may be the easy way - but the timing may be not best for workouts or recovery or such.
Just recommend taking a closer look at that.1 -

Then why jump straight to 15%?
Don't throw everything at it straight away!
Start with a 5% cut.
Make sure your protein is still on point.
Have you thrown extra workouts/cardio in as well? (Most people do when they start a cut, but again, hold back some tools in the box for later!)
If yes, then you e increased your activity level = higher TDEE = eat more!
If you're really hungry there's no reason to keep going at 15% cut. You can build up to that over time, if desired.
Slow and steady wins the fat loss race!

Update: I did a 14 week metabolic reset. Gained around 11 pounds. Matched my previous highest weight from years ago but my body looks nowhere near the same. I am on week 3 of my first cut i am down two pounds.1
