We babysat the 2 month old grandson while mom & dad moved house. He did not want to be put down *at all*. Needless to say, I didn't get much moving done beyond small battles with the laundry monster and spider horde (I didn't win), but I feel like I've a good start to the month.
June 1-4, 4.3 miles, all walking.

@anaconda469 - as @clepant has said - you're one gutsy woman taking on that challenge. May your training go well.
@Leanz - hope your cold symptoms are clearing up and not wearing you down by lingering coughs.
@kar328 - that sounds dreadful - but it didn't stop you ... a brave woman or a glutton for punishment???
@JTH11706 - I'm hoping the elliptical counts (my argument would be it's not that different from a TM). Between the rain and grandparenting ..... running outside wasn't going to happen.
@vhuber - my thoughts and best wishes are with you and MT.
@djmicheals - hugs to you and the pleasures of a 2 mth old grandchild.
@Just_Ceci - happy to oblige

@vhuber: I am so sorry to here about your weather issues. I wish I could shift our rain back your way. We have rain coming everyday this week starting yesterday with Friday the first day of relief. My dad's grass is so high that I am sure his neighbors are having a fit. I will be lucky to get the mower through it. I have added your area to my prayer list.2 -

Both, but probably more the glutton for punishment. After the first set some of us moved to the side nearer the building where there was a couple of feet of shade. The turf was cooler - for me it was more an issue of my hands on the really hot turf. Everyone survived but one gentleman was clearly out of his element so the nurse in me kept watching him. So did the instructor. I didn't dream of doing HIIT class until I knew I could handle it, indoors or out.
1 mile today.

Raining here again. Sorry to hear others need rain so badly. I got out between the showers and did a mile running on the beach then walked a mile back - all with the dogs. Very efficient! Puts me at 18/75.
@k80flec - I agree it's pretty much the same as a treadmill. Fortunately there are no RW Streak police so we can argue anything we want! Good for you for getting it done.
I'm off to buy groceries. My summer house is in a pretty remote location. I have to take a ferry to do any kind of real errands and it will take up most of the rest of the day. See ya tomorrow!4
