Done! (Without the 11 year old.) I've settled into a pretty consistent pace. It's slow-a little slower than a 15 minute mile. Are there any graduates still checking out this thread? Does anyone have advice about whether to keep at my slow pace and increase time until I'm going 5k, or stick with running 30 minutes and work on increasing speed after I graduate?0

W8d2 done!3

W3d1 done I was worried for 2 reasons one I thought I'd find it hard and 2 for various reasons I could do Monday so it's been 4 days between runs. I can't say I found it easy, but I did it and don't feel like death. So overall happy!3

W3D2 finished today. I have to say that W3 has been a surprise. As a former distance jogger before crappy knees, I did not notice you went from running for 90 seconds to 3 minutes between week 2 and 3. If I had never jogged before I think that would be really difficult. As it was of course the 3 min run happened on the worst hill of my course. LOL. I kept looking at my phone thinking why am I still jogging...?!!!! hahahaha.. Anyway, crappy knees will keep me from ever running more than 2 miles at a time, but I find this a good motivator to get back to jogging again after a year layoff, and do half of the run each day.2

same here! Even after the cool down I could NOT stop "glowing". I actually took a COLD water shower for the first time this year (Tx and it's HOT). What I am MOST excited about it that maybe my knee is going to allow me to actually do a 5K later this summer. This one had 16 minutes of jogging and I actually survived. LOL5 -
W1D1
This was harder than I thought it would be. 60 seconds is a long time. Anyway day 1 is complete. And that I celebrate6 -
Going to start week 3 again today. Only because I didn't have time to do the 3rd run at the weekend due to family events. It's quite warm though so going to save it for this evening2

Congrats to all those who did their runs . I'm restarting yet again ... and I did week 1 day 1 this morning. Hoping this time when I graduate I don't stop running.5

I'm done! W9d3 done today. If this old, asthmatic, still overweight lady can do it, so can you!5
-
W7D3 done. I'm pretty excited to finish next week. I'm currently looking for 10k apps. I've been using the zen labs C25K app so I'll probably just keep going with their 10k version.3

W4D3 done this morning. Looking forward to W5, instead of being intimidated by it.
I'm amazed - when I started, I was barely able to run for more than 15 seconds at a clip without feeling like death. Today I ran for almost 15 straight minutes!4 -
Finished W3D1. I feel a little sad that I'm so happy about being able to run for three minutes, but at the same time... Three minutes, y'all.5
