    Highest Weight: 220lbs.
    Start Weight: 212lbs
    Current weight: 141lbs.
July Goal: To stop losing/maintain post-appendectomy surgery.
    Ultimate Goal: 145lbs

    Last June weight: 146lbs.
    July 5th: 142.6lbs.
    July 12th: 142.2lbs
    July 19th: 141lbs
    July 26th:

Okay, this whole post-surgery thing is kicking my *kitten*. My doctor said I can go back to light exercise, whoo! and that the weight I've lost will come back naturally but it, frankly, hasn't stopped. Really resisting the urge to sit and pig out (I'm on my period) in case it bites me in the *kitten* later. This is a maintenance only household!

TBH ladies, with all the parties and BBQs and general niceness that happens in the summer, maintaining our weight is the best we can hope for. I mean, it sucks that you're not losing but you've learned enough not to gain 5lbs every party you go to, which is a huge victory in itself.

Well, if you've dropped back down to 141lbs, perhaps you can justify that period approved bar of chocolate!

Yeah, I'm quite pleased in all fairness.

I took a little break from logging since my weight seems to be in an elevator all the time: up and down, up and down...
I'm giving it another shot with stricter diet and more intense workouts.
Here are the stats so far.

    Age: 40
    Height 5'2"
    Starting weight: 122 (January)
Goal weight this month - July: 113
    Ultimate goal weight: 110

    1/13/2017: 122
    2/1/2017 - 121.8
    2/26/2017 - 120
    March 1: 119.4
    March 8: 118
    March 15: 117
    March 22: 118.2
    March 24: 117
    March 29: 115
    April 4: 115.8
    April 11: 115.2
    April 15: 112.8!
    April 22: 114.8
    April 29: 114
    May 6: 113.8
    May 13: 115.8
    May 20: 117.8
    May 27: 115.2
    June 3: 115.2
    June 9: 115.4
    June 16: 115
    July 12: 115.5
    July 19: 116.8 (!!! )

I sincerely hope this higher number is due to water retention and not fat!

Yeah, I'm quite pleased in all fairness.

I've got a little Lindt bar in the door of my fridge that I had forgotten all about. It makes it sound like I'm a poor deprived soul like I haven't had a bakery double chocolate cookie this morning, or that I didn't have two yesterday AND a doughnut. The giant buttons were pretty negligible though.

I think it's one of those things where when you're in the weight loss zone, it can be really hard to 'let go' because you exactly what you're doing to your body if you do. But it's not 'letting go' or 'going backwards', it's just moderation. With some people on MFP, they seem to really struggle with the concept of moderation, like it can't exist in the weight loss process, and honestly, the people who don't get over it are generally the people who either had disordered eating to start with or it was brought out by the app. I guess part of me just wanted to make sure we're all being healthy about our approach to delicious BBQ food: eat the food, the food is good, don't worry unless you eat the entire buffet table.

@rianneonamission keep the faith, girl, a few bad days, yes, but trust in the process and you may see it's just a bump in the road. Everyone is doing great!,

@vnukinga you are doing great! I had a similar scale experience a couple of weeks ago with lots of water retention. Overall, you have been shedding the pounds, be proud of yourself
@rianneonamission i believe in you!! I think you can definitely still make some good progress before the end of the month. I'm in the same boat. We got this. p.s. all this cake talk has me thinking about what kind of cake i want for my birthday. Which isn't even until October!! LOL
@glassofroses you just brought up some really valid points that I think need to be more openly discussed. new discussion or blog post perhaps? personally I experienced a great deal of disordered eating that was amplified by this app when i first started in 2013. my thinking was unhealthy, and my restrictive/anorexic lifestyle was equally as unhealthy. It took a lot for me to come back to this app with a positive outlook and fresh perspective. Doing things the healthy way and in moderation are so important. Preach!

@2tall4thisworld Disordered eating is a pretty sensitive topic so maybe I'll do a blog post about it over the weekend. That way people can decide if they want to get involved with that without getting possibly triggered.

No weigh ins today? :disappointed: Maybe tomorrow.

Thanks @glassofroses @bringbackthejoy and @2tall4thisworld! Feeling better for getting back to normal.

And I managed 30kg dead lifts this week which I'm VERY pleased with!

@vnukinga Are you doing weight training? If you've been a bit heavy on the weights you may just be seeing increased muscle weight on the scales, and that is not a bad thing!

I forgot to check in on Monday! I was busy enjoying my day and trying to get stuff done.

    07/03: 64.4 kg
    07/10: 64.5 kg
    07/17: 63.7 kg

I haven't been so strict with logging my meals lately despite lowering my daily calorie goals. But I got some meal prepping done so I'm not too worried about it.
My struggle this week: It's been kind of stressful at work so I did break down and eat some fast food. As a result I've bloated a bit and was around 64.8 kg today.
Highlight: I finally found a good black bikini top, and I'm able to fit into a medium! That hasn't happened since probably middle school for me.
Focus for next week: start working out regularly again, I've kind of fallen off track with that and I'm not going to gain the muscle I want if I don't get on that.

    Nice to meet everyone!

    Height: 5' small
    Heaviest weight: 139
    Lightest weight: 119
    July start weight: 126
Goal weight (by end of August): 120
Goal weight: 116 with more muscle

If I can't maintain 116 without being hungry all the time though, I will reset my goal to 121-122, at which point I know I will be able to maintain myself and be satisfied.

Update: I'm at 120 (holy crap that was fast!!) and feeling good, this would be a good place to set the top of my maintenance range. I want the low end of it to be 110, we'll see how this month goes. I'm also building strength so will eventually start recomping; getting back into climbing and working out this month and it feels good! As I've mentioned elsewhere, I've mostly stopped drinking this month and it's given me way more energy; I'm convinced it's why I lost weight so fast at the beginning.

My waist is about 3.5" less now than it was at my heaviest; that's more than 11%. Lost 10% off the hips. I need new clothes. :)

    GW: 114 (52kg)
    July goal 132.27 (60kg)

Hi all! It's been a good month and I want to post a 4-lb loss in July. I'm a little late to the party but I need this accountability!

    I'm 5'6...
    SW 4/31 - 142
    July SW - 133.9
    July GW - 129.9

I had a tough weekend with a binge yesterday :( and am weighing in at 132.9 but a couple days ago it was 131.2 so I KNOW I can recover and succeed this month with determination and tough self-love!

End of July Goal: 173.5 lbs... ACHIEVED!

I reached my July goal already! WOW. It feels great to be making progress. Even on the weekends, I feel very in control of what I'm eating. If I order a big breakfast one day (cinnamon raisin french toast LOL), I make sure not to over do it the rest of the day. I had another bikini beach weekend, and I feel so much more confident than I have in the past (even when i was skinnier). I'm becoming more comfortable in my skin, and I think that's what it's really all about. I guess since I reached my July goal, I can set a new short term goal! I'm going to go for 171.7lbs by July 31st!

Wishing you all a wonderful start to your week!

So I didn't really get a chance to workout cuz I've been sick with a fever for the past few days :( even though I was 63.5 kg the other day.
Just focusing on staying hydrated, and drinking at least 8 cups of water a day.
Fingers crossed I get over this soon!
