Well I just got back from a 10 day vacation and yesterday was my birthday so all that combined leaves me with a 257 this AM. I am back on my WOE and hoping to pull that number down fast!

Didn't work out yesterday (spent all day messing about with husband's doctors) and was 114 this morning, however I did some leg exercises before breakfast and was 107 an hour after 30g carb breakfast, so that was okay.

It's been a tough week. I almost lost my dog of 14 years...she's still here, but I need to watch her carefully for the next two weeks. Mostly my numbers have been high for me due to my stress level being equally high...my highest was 153, 136, 124, 122, 119 & 116 today. (all were fasting am numbers)

Sorry about your dog. I know your pain. Stress will do that for sure. Take care.

I'm glad your dog is doing better, stress does a number on bg.

My waking numbers have been around 100 lately - 98 today - the weird thing is my numbers haven't been going up noticeably after breakfast. I had oatmeal with apples and peanut butter plus an egg for the past two days, and today I had a large orange plus a salad, tuna, and cottage cheese - 34g net carbs and my bg was 105 at 1 hr. Normally in the am, 34g will put me in the 120s if not higher. The only thing I've really been doing differently is a few rear leg extensions and calf raises while I cook, doesn't seem like enough to make such a huge difference.

I'm hoping this new trend of better post prandials continues!

Thanks @ConleighS & @rheddmobile My fasting bg was 117 today. Sleep is tough 'cause I wake up at every sound my dog makes during the night. I check back with the vet in a week
