Up with the dawn patrol, sun not up yet so I put on the blinky lights. But I am trying to stay away from the highway as much as possible on these super early rides. But the air is so cool and still.....
Goal: 250.0 miles
08/01 - 23.0 miles cycling (when I left this morning to ride, the time began with a 5)
08/02 - 22.0 miles cycling (when I left this morning to ride, the time began with a 5 again)
Total: 45.0 miles

@anaconda: You rock girl.
@vhuber: Easy does it.
@kar: Sorry for the rough shift. What would we so without exercise.
@just_Ceci: It never amazes me how different reversing a route can be. Once in a while they are better.
Well I did not need the gym today as I hauled and emptied two trailer loads of wood chips and went to our master gardner's demo gardens and shoveled and hauled mulch for another three hours.
Aug. 2: Adding 14 miles of running for 3 and walking for 11 miles and these were purposeful with very little rest.
TTD:26 miles

I am determined to be more consistent reporting in this month. Let's try for 75 miles again, I should be able to do that with a little determination.
Started out with 4.5 miles over the last 2 days.
It's one of those weeks I don't have over 40 hours at work, but I have something every day but Sunday. Hard to plan around sometimes, but this morning is free, so I'm out for a walk before my training session. @kar I hear you about the rough work shifts. I figure the long walk is more productive than the tears and screaming (although on a really bad day I combine the two ) My husband says they keep throwing me in the deep end because I always manage to swim anyway. I keep wondering if they just haven't figured out how many rocks to put in the bag with me. Oh well, my head is still above water so I keep going.3 -

@taxmom9093 - you know what they say - if you want a job doing well, ask a busy woman!!
I'm in awe of the early starts to get a cycle ride in! And your gifs always impress me @Dave
@clepant - this year will fly by for you, filling you with excitement and dismay (the latter for all the things left undone and all the words left unsaid because time has run out)
@vhuber - remember to be kind to your feet.
Aug: 160 m running, purposeful walking, cycling
2nd: 0 miles, Pilates - MTD 9.75
3rd: 8.75 miles, 3.28m running, hill training, 5.47m purposeful walking - MTD 18.50 -

Well it finally hit 110 F today. Those of you that are having rain or other crappy weather, do ya wanna trade? We are getting wildfire smoke from Canada and the Cacades. Our valley if filled with smoke and no breeze. So I will continue the dawn patrol rides til things settle down. Air is better at that time in the AM.
Goal: 250.0 miles
08/01 - 23.0 miles cycling (when I left this morning to ride, the time began with a 5)
08/02 - 22.0 miles cycling (when I left this morning to ride, the time began with a 5 again)
08/03 - 23.0 miles cycling (we hit 110 F today & smoky due to fires, up with the dawn patrol again)
Total: 68.0 miles
